Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant

In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group’s functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following functional areas: business process, quality assurance, strategic planning, or project management
  • 5+ years of experience managing Business Resiliency, Crisis Management and Technology Recovery for Investment Banking/Capital Markets businesses that has a global footprint
  • Strong experience from a resiliency design perspective in one or more of the following areas: Technology & Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery, Cyber resiliency, Data Corruption, Cloud Resiliency, and Data Center resiliency procedures/solutions
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • Knowledge and understanding of trading, FX, commodities, fixed income and equities applications and platforms
  • Experience working within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB)and Commercial Real Estate (CRE)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills including strategically analyzing data and diagnosing opportunities/interventions
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills

Business Focused Planning and Delivery of Resiliency Services

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive resiliency as a key consideration in business as usual activities to enhance Wells Fargo’s ability to prevent, respond to, recover and learn from incidents in order to minimize impact to Wells Fargo, customers and the broader financial sector.
  • Proactively engage LOB leaders and business managers in order to identify respective resilience challenges, capabilities and plans with a focus on serving the LOB needs in various Business Continuity Planning scenarios.
  • Ensure engagement between the business and technology (CIO) organizations to strengthen and enhance resiliency for the corresponding LOB.
  • Develop knowledge of Business Process and infrastructure necessary to support the corresponding LOB including related disaster recovery infrastructure, desktop support and communications.
  • Coordinate with CIB Corporate Property partners to integrate facilities management into planning and execution of CIB business resiliency events.
  • Coordinate and support the development of business resiliency plans (e.g., provide input, address concerns, drive consistency) and incident management plans.
  • Coordinate, support and maintain the development of robust communication plan for each corresponding LOB.
  • Develop and maintain relevant Business Impact Assessments for functions in the corresponding LOB.
  • Design exercises and tests for the LOB and support coordinate, facilitate and report on exercises in conjunction with Enterprise Business Continuity Planning (EBCP).
  • Ensure adequate plan unit/application participation in integrated exercises and large scale walkthroughs as required, and support development of action plans to address identified deficiencies/issues.
  • Coordinate with EBCP and the CIB Resiliency Incident and Crisis Management (ICM) lead to establish protocol for monitoring global events and communicating as required to corresponding BRO, LOBs and other partners.
  • Coordinate with the CIB ICM lead to ensure incident and crisis management playbooks documented, exercised, maintained, and comply with enterprise requirements. In addition, ensure timely updates are made to the playbooks as changes occur within the organization and businesses.
  • Drive the development and implementation of solutions for each corresponding LOB to mitigate BCP risks identified by EBCP, independent risk management, Wells Fargo Audit Services, regulatory agencies, or the CIB Lines of Business.
  • Act as the central coordinator for the corresponding LOB during BCP events, including coordination with the CIB Resiliency Lead, CIB and Enterprise Crisis Management, LOB communication, IT , support partners, COOs and control partners.
  • Work in coordination with the Business Resiliency reporting and information lead to develop key reports and monitoring tools for the corresponding LOB.
  • Coordinate with CIB Data Management Partners to incorporate data corruption related events into planning, exercises and business resiliency event support.
  • Ensure engagement between the business and technology (CIO) organizations to strengthen and enhance resiliency for the corresponding LOB.
  • Support management’s approval for Business Impact Analysis, Risk Appetite, and Simulation documentation, including annual affirmation by CIB COO.
  • Interact and engage with the International BRO and ensure international partners are integrated into the resiliency framework.

Pay Range:

• New York Pay Range – $115,900.00 – $206,100.00 Annual

• Charlotte Pay Range – $96,600.00 – $171,800.00 Annual

Due to a city-wide mandate in New York City, all individuals who perform in-person work or interact with the public during business must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. At this time, this position falls under the scope of this mandate.
