The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated. We are looking for a Head of Brand Partnership, TikTok US E-commerce to join our newly formed Global E-Commerce Key Accounts and Agencies Team. The team will play a critical role in establishing and leading strategic e-Commerce partnerships between TikTok and the world’s top-tier brands or agencies. This team will lead the long-term growth of each global account. The Head of Brand Partnership, TikTok US E-commerce will own and nurture C-level and senior brand-side relationships and partner with TikTok global e-commerce regional and local market Account Managers to drive sales.

Our Head of Brand Partnership, TikTok US E-commerce will act as the strategic ambassador responsible for building TikTok’s reputation and e-commerce sales for top-tier global brands. They will steward industry level thought leadership in marketing and e-commerce, work cross-functionally and collaboratively with the consumer, content, product, marketing, and advertisement business units around the world to help clients grow GMV on TikTok in the long-run.

The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about cross-functional account management, proficient in high level strategic thinking and local market enablement. This role requires the ability to work across different time zones and cultures and bring a philosophy of client-centricity to the role both internally and externally. The successful candidate is a builder, intellectually curious, creative, entrepreneurial, resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, strong in strategic thinking and has deep experience leading through influence.

Responsibilities:
• KA services and expansion: Recruit and nurture long-term relationships with top-listed global brands; build and shape the vision, brand mapping, global strategy, approach, coordination, solutions planning and success metrics for each brand;
• Planning & Execution: Produce KA-based, GMV-oriented solutions; participate in the process design and execution; support the implementation to ensure the completion of the objectives; summarize the conclusions and know-hows into tangible documents, powerpoint, and mind maps;
• Analyzing business settings & objectives: Responsible for KA’s seller experience, identifying areas of improvement in product and service based on data and user feedback; drive the optimization of products and service by building apt mechanisms and standard processes; Familiar with approaches and policies in e-commerce; provide robust support for business owners to dissect business objectives, sort out priorities, and monitor project progress; analyze the output and efficiency of projects through in-depth analyses and able to produce results;
• Build communication mechanisms: Sustain close communication and alignment with clients and internal counterparts to maximize client strategies, engender trust and ensure smooth landing of collaborative projects. Regularly consult with local/regional Account Managers to enhance brand performance and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and above; 10 years+ work experience; Proven experience working in e-commerce, KA solution/marketing/brand is a plus; Proven experience working in consumer industry consulting is a plus
• Have a solid understanding of social e-commerce and content marketing. Understanding in livestream a plus
• Strong capabilities in external relationship building and internal cross function coordination; Able to produce and execute effective solutions
• International work experience is a plus; Willing to travel abroad for business
