In this position you will be joining a start-up team working across multiple verticals. The ideal candidate is a strong influencer and with proven ability to gain alignment across multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) as needed to meet sales goals. They also must possess 5-7 years of account management and enterprise sales experience, preferably in the eCommerce, logistics, public sector, healthcare, retail technology, or software industries. Experience selling nascent products/services into new markets is strongly desired. Candidates must have strong communication and presentation skills, a strong working knowledge of Excel and MS Office applications, and an ability to thrive in an upstart, ambiguous environment.
Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing relationships with strategic accounts in the public sector and highly regulated industry verticals. The scope includes identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts, collaborating with business development leads to secure new customers and partners, and developing deep understanding of the supply chain needs of your customers and working with ADFS product and operations teams to influence product and service roadmaps.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must possess 5-7 years account management and enterprise sales experience
Track record of consistently exceeding sales objectives
Strong communication and presentation skills, both externally to customers and internally to upper management
Ability to develop strong relationships at all levels of a customer’s organization
Ability to prioritize work in a complex, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Ability to effectively communicate progress and objectives to upper management
Strong problem-solving passion and service orientation
Ability to thrive in a start-up environment
Highly analytical with passion for data
Intermediate to Advanced experience using Excel and MS Office applications
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience selling nascent products/services into new markets is strongly desired
Retail e-commerce or supply chain experience in public sector or healthcare verticals
Ability to understand multiple retail business models
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experiencing using a CRM such as Salesforce
