The Program Manager (PM), Global Customer Success will set the course and navigate the intersection of service strategy development and commercial execution of the Ethicon Global Customer Success (GCS) strategy. In addition, the PM will develop a critical roadmap that will define the capabilities and resources needed to support our customers and the vision of the GCS organization. Data-driven, the PM will work closely with other members of the GCS team such as Technical & Clinical Services, Customer Excellence and Service Operations to develop project plans vital to achieving business objectives. Additionally, the PM will provide governance through effective prioritization and allocation of resources to achieve strategic goals. Reporting to the Director of Platform Support, this person will lead and coordinate activities across GCS, functions, and platforms including research and development, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, service, and commercial and product marketing, to ensure execution of the GCS strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the execution of the Global Customer Success (GCS) strategy from a project management perspective.
- Working with GCS team members and cross-platform partners, develop a holistic service and support roadmap inclusive of currently commercialized products as well as those in development
- Support Commercial and GCS teams during new product/service roll-out and ramp up
- Lead Global Customer Success readiness for new program and product introductions and implementations
- Manage day to day program activities and overall project resourcing
- Drive the cross-functional project team across identified functions to ensure execution is aligned with the overall business objectives
- Collaborate with Commercial, Supply, Manufacturing, Marketing and Service teams to maintain agility of new product introductions while aligned to the long-term commercial strategy
- Support development of project business cases and appropriate prioritization of activities and projects
- Develop and roll out processes that support commercial product and program implementation

• A minimum of bachelor’s degree is required
• At least 4 years business experience required
• At least 4 years’ experience in any of the following combined functions: Supply Chain, Quality, Service, Operations, Marketing, General Project Management is required
• At least 4 years of Program management or project leadership experience is required
• Experience with capital product (placing, servicing/launching/enhancing, etc) is preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams is required
• At least 2 years’ experience in new product introductions, launches, commercial program required.
• Six Sigma/Process Excellence, Project Management (PMP) certifications are highly preferred
• Change management, influence skills, and the ability to work effectively and drive alignment in a complex environment through strong communication is required.
• Ability to develop and mentor people and utilize customer-focused decision making is preferred
• Ability to build business strategies, embrace financial goals, capital budget management and driving strategy implementation is preferred
• Prior experience in development of new to market launches OR implementation strategies (prior to launch) required
• Experience working in the healthcare industry with medical devices is preferred
