Description:Derco, A Lockheed Martin Company, an industry-leading aerospace distributor of spares, components, and services, is seeking an innovative, experienced Senior Capture Manager with a background in United States Government programs and international sales to join its Business Development team. A successful candidate will have a background and understanding in aircraft sustainment, infrastructure, maintenance, distribution, and logistics. The candidate will work with a highly integrated team of sales and technical professionals, as well cross-functional disciplines in support of achieving sales growth objectives with both U.S. Government, international military operators, and system original equipment manufacturers. The position will be directly responsible for developing the value propositions centered on logistics, distribution, repair, and technical solutions that impact warfighter readiness. The position will demonstrate an ability to transition that development into executing winning proposal and capture efforts. The position will have visibility and coordination requirements that span across the organization while developing, promoting, and marketing Derco solutions worldwide. Additional responsibilities include researching and analyzing military aircraft market conditions both nationally and internationally, and work specifically with the forward-facing organizations to find and manage new opportunities. The position will communicate these findings and assist in the development of marketing strategies to meet company, department, and individual objectives.
Both domestic and international travel is required. Knowledge of aircraft depot operations and commercial/military maintenance programs a plus.
