    Manager, On-Premise Channel Sales – NC

    Role Responsibilities

    Manage Beam Suntory’s Consumer-Facing Team and work in conjunction with Southern Glazers On-Premise sales force to expand the distribution and promotional support of Beam Suntory products to achieve the sales and profit goals of the Company. Oversee the statewide on-premise business for North Carolina. Work with the State Manager to develop the appropriate broker On-Premise targets and maintain follow-through. Assist State Manager in achieving NSV, DGP, case depletion targets, KPIs, Big Bets, and On-Premise Growth Goals for North Carolina.

    • Manage BSI the On-Premise Consumer-Facing Team to achieve increased on-premise distribution, key performance indicators, NSV, DGP, Big Bets, and On-Premise Growth goals of Beam Suntory products.
    • Work in conjunction with all key Beam Suntory sales roles to ensure maximum productivity, including the Makers Mark Diplomat, Multicultural Specialist, and RTS/RTD Specialist.
    • Develop and Manage Quarterly SGWS on-premise programming to maximize brand equity and brand awareness.
    • Manage and oversee the statewide on-premise universe to achieve increased on-premise distribution, key performance indicators, NSV, DGP, Big Bets, and On-Premise Growth goals of Beam Suntory products.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key On-Premise accounts and State Boards across the broad demographic and landscape of the North Carolina market.
    • Oversee and manage Field BI and T&E budgets associated with the On-Premise Business.
    • Actively manage the presentation and execution of category plans, brand plans, promotions, and new item introductions ensuring compliance with Brand (and State) Standards.
    • Develop new volume opportunities with BSI team and SGWS Broker teams to include new brand placements, menu promotions in key drinks; signature drink promotions, and premium wells.
    • Set goals with BSI team and SGWS team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual on-premise targets.
    • Work with the Broker sales forces to monitor progress and ensure goals are achieved.
    • Manage and call on a designated number of key on-premise accounts with sole responsibility for expanding distribution/volume on priority brands/sizes.
    • Successfully launch all-new on-premise products, achieving volume and distribution KPI’s as set out by corporate management.
    • Successfully manage the execution of all on-premise events and use division or company-sponsored tracking and execution recaps as provided and submitted to analyst.
    • Provide monthly sales training and communication, to SGWS sales force in areas of brand trend awareness and sales technique.
    • Ensure all efforts and sales involvement is in compliance with state and federal laws.
    • Manage on premise allocations and manage all Beam Suntory on-premise POS with the BSI Customer Facing Team.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • Exceptional planning and self-management skills
    • Thorough knowledge of distribution, promotion, and selling techniques
    • Leadership and Management experience
    • Sales experience, including experience selling promotion and marketing programs
    • MS Office Suite
    • Previous distributor/broker experience preferred
    • Experience working with Food and Beverage Directors preferred
    • Experience in the spirits industry is preferred.
    • A licensed driver of motor vehicles

    Physical Demands

    While performing the essential functions of this job, daily physical activities may include, but aren’t limited to:

    • Lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 45 lbs.
    • Sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping and typing using a computer
