Job Description

We are looking for a senior finance manager who has experience in corporate Treasury, cash management, and capital markets to join Visa’s Global Treasury team to help drive capital market strategies and align Treasury practices and policies for acquired entities. In this role, you will conduct Treasury’s Capital market activities, working collaboratively with banking and finance counterparts to plan and execute Visa’s capital allocation strategies. You will also work with finance leaders across Visa and acquired companies to ensure Treasury’s integration goals (full or partial integration of Treasury activities) are met on time.

You will be responsible for Visa’s core corporate finance functions, including stock repurchase activity, capital structure, asset-liability management policies, the revolving credit facility, interaction with rating agencies, and collaboration on liquidity risk management decisions. You’ll also interact across Treasury sub-teams and other Visa teams (Tax, Controllership, Legal, M&A Integration) to ensure all of Treasury’s integration objectives are appropriately planned for and executed.

Capital Markets & Risk Management

  • Co-operatively formulate, identify, and execute capital structure priorities with an asset liability-based risk management framework.
  • Develop and execute stock repurchases plans in consultation with Corporate Treasury Leaders and manage the dealers’ rotations
  • Responsible for maintaining, renewing, and managing Visa’s revolving credit facility and commercial paper program
  • Responsible for strategic and tactical planning to access debt capital markets and proactively identify associated risk mitigation opportunities.
  • Continued engagement with banks, financial institutions, and rating agencies to stay abreast with current situations impact Visa’s liquidity, capital structure, and access to capital markets.  
  • Actively partner across the Treasury to drive the success of technology initiatives.
  • Work directly with internal stakeholders to deliver on various activities, including SEC reporting activities, Internal/External audits, Investor presentations etc. 
  • Lead ad-hoc special projects on a need basis

M&A Integration

  • Perform Treasury’s pre-close diligence on planned M&A acquisitions, including the coordination of funding and payment timelines.
  • Oversee execution and coordination of Treasury related activities, including bank records updates, signatory updates, opening/closing bank accounts, ongoing funding strategy, and other Treasury activities
  • Lead continuous process improvements for Treasury’s M&A operations by establishing metrics to track performance.
  • Coordinate the signatory update effort for acquired companies, including the adoption of Visa’s banking resolutions by subsidiary entities
  • Support quarterly and annual signatory compliance requests for the acquired companies
  • Generation of ad hoc and monthly reporting

Flex Work Arrangement – Hybrid Position – This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7 or more relevant years of
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience
with a PhD
• Experience in Treasury Operations (i.e., bank account management, cash positioning) and/or
experience in Capital Markets activities.
• Experience working with outsourced service providers, cross-functional teams, and influencing
change with external partners.
• Ability to work collaboratively and lead operations in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and sensitivity to deadlines.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
