The key technology domains we are currently focused on include business process automation, data curation, industrialized analytics, machine learning & AI and scalable delivery platform.A career in our Tax Reporting and Strategy practice, within Innovation services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients’ tax departments redesign, redefine, and redeploy tax to be a strategic asset across the enterprise. You’ll focus on assisting clients incorporate increased automation in the tax reporting process, increase analytic capabilities through data integration, and create solid internal controls that will enable the Tax function to deliver better quality output and contribute more strategically to organisational decision making.Our team helps our clients expand the tax role to include research, analytics, and technologies to improve how their organisation collaborates and performs. You’ll focus on enhancing the tax reporting process by incorporating increased automation, integrating quality data, developing analytic capabilities, and utilising technology to deliver better quality output in less time.

The Deals group within Tax Reporting & Strategy (TRS) is comprised of subject matter specialists who provide planning and implementation consulting during every stage of the M&A lifecycle between the signing of the deal through full integration or separation.

Demonstrates proven intimate knowledge of, and/or success in managerial roles involving, consulting with clients in full lifecycle of project phases including strategy, requirements through implementation, including the following areas:

– eLeading ERP engagements defining ERP tax integration needs, configuring document management and automated workflow platforms, and assessing tax point solution software;

– Leading clients to define operational efficiencies and mitigating risk within their tax functions;

– Leveraging extensive knowledge of Transfer Pricing and Tax Depreciation/Fixed Assets;

– Understanding tax-related data analytics, including a proven track record of supporting tax strategy in tax functions of provisions and compliance;

– Leading a virtual team and collaborate across various geographies; and,

– Driving pipeline and sales opportunities.

Demonstrates proven thought-leader level abilities and success with implementing ERP Systems (such as SAP and Oracle) and tax-related applications, such as OneSource and Corptax, including:

– Collaboration with corporate tax departments and tax data in data management projects, including leveraging MS Project, MS Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel to create project deliverables;

– Tax provision and compliance processes;

– Indirect tax application space (e.g. Vertex, Sabrix); and,

– Thought leadership development in the Tax ERP integration space.

Demonstrates proven intimate ability to identify and address client needs: developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection. Demonstrates proven intimate ability and/or direct experience as a team leader: leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation. Demonstrates proven extensive ability to utilize effectively written and verbal business communication skills within a professional business services environment, including interacting with clients and firm staff and/or management. Interact cross-vertical to drive collaboration and integration of other solutions.

Demonstrates a proven record of success as a tax technical team leader generating new business, proposal writing and delivery, collaborating across engagements and business units. Identifying opportunities to provide additional services with experience utilizing a CRM system in a professional services firm to network, develop relationships and sell additional/new services.

Demonstrates experience in a professional services environment utilizing automation & digitization in a professional services environment, including but not limited to:- innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions;

– working with large, complex data sets to build models and leveraging data visualization tools to provide insights to clients;

– transforming the business by creating capacity and delivering an enhanced employee and client experience.

Proven experience with evaluating and negotiating new and existing contracts, as well as leveraging pricing tools to contribute to pricing strategies.
