As technology continues to advance, UAV operations are playing an increasingly crucial role in various industries, from surveillance and reconnaissance to data collection and beyond.As an Electronic CAD / Cable Harness Technician at Milkor Integrated Systems, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining component footprints and libraries accurately on ALTIUM and cable harness systems in the Military Aviation Industry. This position is based in Airport City, Cape Town.POSITION INFO:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating and maintaining component footprints and libraries accurately on ALTIUM, adhering to IPC standards and Milkor Standards.
• Creating Loom Libraries in Capital Essentials harness schematics and harness drawings with Bill Of Materials.
• Working to configuration control and update component library and upload completed projects.
• Calculation of MTBF of electronic hardware designs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• National Higher Diploma or National Diploma in Electronic

, or equivalent or, PCB CAD Training certification with a background in electronics. * Proficiency in PCB CAD Packages, with experience in ALTIUM preferred.

• IPC J standards for PCB Layout and Design.
• IPC-WHMA-A-620 harness manufacturing standards.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with ALTIUM and Capital Essentials is highly beneficial.
• Meticulous to documents and process control.
