Location: Full Remote (European Union Only)
Language Requirement: English – C1 or higherAbout the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Symfony Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Symfony (PHP). This is a fully remote role available only to candidates within the European Union. You’ll join a dynamic team working on exciting projects that impact our customers worldwide. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, thrives in a collaborative environment, and can communicate effectively in English at a C1 level or higher.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using Symfony and PHP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain new features.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner.
• Follow Agile methodologies and contribute to team sprints with regular code reviews.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, suggesting improvements to existing processes and technologies.
• Document technical specifications and maintain high standards in code quality and testing.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Symfony Experience: Minimum of 6 years of proven experience with Symfony 5.X+
• PHP Expertise: Minimum 6 years experience working with PHP 8.X+ and object-oriented programming.
• Confident use of the Linux shell
• Database Skills: Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• API Development: Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Version Control: Strong knowledge of Git for version control.
• Testing and Debugging: Experience with automated testing and debugging tools.
• Agile Development: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and workflows.
• English Language Proficiency: Must have advanced English skills (C1 or higher).
• Location Requirement: Must reside within the European Union.

Preferred Skills:

• experience in the type of coding client is doing
• experience in server administration (Apache, MariaDB) / DevOps
• experience in server virtualization (VMware ESXi / Hyper-V)
• experience in the development of mobile applications
