Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a dynamic, growing business unit within Amazon.com. Since early 2006, Amazon Web Services has provided companies of all sizes with an infrastructure platform in the cloud. Using AWS, companies can requisition compute power, storage, and other services gaining access to a global computing infrastructure that is the backbone of Amazon.com’s multi-billion-dollar retail business. The Telco International Business Unit (IBU) is a fast-growing vertical business unit which specializes in supporting Communication Service Providers with their digital transformation journeys and new growth areas such as 5G, cloud native networks, IoT and AI/ML to name a few.

The AWS Telco IBU marketing team looking for an integrated campaign manager to own the creation, execution and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns. In this key role, you will contribute to the overall audience marketing strategy, and be responsible for the development, implementation and optimization of multi-channel, full-funnel campaigns that deliver on priority business goals and objectives. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a rapidly growing business and to transform the way we interact with our customers. This role requires a creative and analytical thinker, able to analyze and interpret data, providing creative solutions to address gaps and areas of opportunity.

The ideal candidate is a data driven, self-starter with a proven track record for synthesizing data and customer insights to develop high-impact, end-to-end marketing strategies and campaigns.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive integrated marketing campaigns for targeted telco accounts to increase awareness, accelerate the sales cycle, grow advocacy and increase sales across multiple channels, in support of sales priorities and revenue goals.
  • Identify internal opportunities to leverage global marketing and product resources to create customized campaigns for the telco vertical.
  • Lead internal cross-functional teams and external agencies through campaign development, design and implementation.
  • Create campaign deliverables including: Sales tools, tip sheets, demand generation email and direct mail communications, videos, social media ads and posts.
  • Develop program and campaign scorecard, regularly tracking results and provide updates. Use campaign and pipeline data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Earn trust and maintain strong relationships with Field Sales, and Solution Architects teams to stay abreast of account activities that will inform marketing plans.
  • Work on multiple, programs that require both strategic thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of relevant content experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, campaign management, or field marketing role within the Telco industry.
  • Experience in content development and promotion across multiple channels (social, emails, events, etc) to drive optimal results.
  • Experience with targeting, segmentation and list acquisition to build prospect lists for demand gen campaigns.
  • Experience managing agency partners and creative/content development
  • Solid understanding of pipeline management and sales metrics. Experience working with sales teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail which means deliverables are polished and ready for an executive audience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Communications, or comparable education/experience.

  • Ability to think strategically while being hands-on, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Strong project management, creative thinking, and analytical skills
  • Experience using data and metrics tracking and reporting to inform content creation
  • Able to thrive in a fast pace, agile environment, balancing strategy and execution as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven success delivering measurable marketing results
  • Understanding of cloud computing technology
  • Familiarity with the B2B sales cycle and experience creating the type of content needed to nurture leads, drive adoption, and accelerate growth
  • Experience working in a creative writing-focused role
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders at various levels and in different locales, with the ability to drive alignment
