What you will do:

The Senior Product Manager will lead, coordinate, and support strategic downstream commercialization activities for our Spine Enabling Technologies business unit. Product area responsibilities include imaging, guidance, robotic, and digital health. This candidate will work independently to coordinate world-class customer excellence activities to drive product promotion, adoption, and procedural implementation. This individual will provide sales force and surgeon education and create strategies for virtual and in-person product demonstrations, society meeting presentations, trials, and VIP/Spine Experiences.

  • Will develop and own a world-class experience for customer engagements, with input from the marketing counterparts, across the following platforms
    • Digital
    • Tradeshows (including podium presentation strategy)
    • Sales in-servicing and trials (owning trial program, ensures SEKO properly managed for trials/demos)
    • Spine Experience/VIP partnership
  • As a product expert, represent the entire depth and breadth of Enabling Technologies at virtual and in-person events
  • Cross-divisional partnership with an NT focus. Builds brand awareness across Stryker to find and implement strategic co-marketing opportunities.
  • Builds relationships with KOLs. Works closely with Medical Eduction to establish Surgeon to Surgeon strategy. Identifies partnership with customer facilities for proctoring and product showcases, capable of demonstrating complete ecosystem.
  • Author and leverage marketing team to create key strategy documents: strategic plan, annual marketing plan, product launch plans, etc.
  • Surface new or unexpressed customer needs, leading to product/program improvements
  • Adhere to organizational protocols, practices and procedures for gathering competitive information
  • Drive segmentation and targeting methods to improve commercial efficiency
  • Accurately forecast resource needs
  • Establish metrics and goals/success criteria and milestones
  • Demonstrate financial acumen
  • Hold self and others accountable to deliver high-quality results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities
  • Mentor, develop, and inspire others
  • Collaborate and influence others on cross-functional teams, advancing partnerships to achieve business objectives
  • Develop key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations, and institutions, in collaboration with other marketing leaders

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA preferred
  • 6+ years of work experience required
  • 3+ years medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
  • Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
