Job summary
Are you a business leader/doer with a strong organizational change acceleration and workforce transformation background, and experience implementing successful people and culture transformation programs to support transformation initiatives within large (Global 2000, or comparable) enterprises? Are you excited about helping customers get the best out of their organizational culture, leveraging the power of cloud, and introducing new ways of working? Do you have experience leading business transformation across diverse enterprise teams driving change and business value at enterprise scale?
At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are seeking experienced leaders/doers who possess a unique balance of People & Change domain expertise, strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, experience with large-enterprise management consulting, and knowledge of digital/cloud transformation, to drive customer transformation programs and lead a portfolio of customers, as part of the AWS Professional Services People & Change (P&C) Global Specialty Practice. You will partner with customers, AWS Sales, and several other AWS teams to develop and execute highly scalable, flexible, and resilient People & Change solutions that address customer use cases and accelerate the adoption of AWS. As trusted customer advocates, P&C helps organizations understand best practices around advanced culture, change acceleration, transformation leadership, and workforce transformation solutions, and how to enable business adoption for cloud value realization. You will help shape and execute a strategy to deliver solutions for a broad range of customer use cases primarily from large enterprise customers. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

In this role, primarily, you will engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, spanning diverse technologies across multiple industries, and help the world’s largest enterprises successfully navigate the myriad changes to business and IT capabilities, culture and organization, leadership, skills, and talent. You will lead customer engagement delivery, and manage a multi-disciplinary team of consultants with diverse perspectives and experiences in organizational change acceleration, stakeholder engagement, communications, workforce transformation, and leadership enablement. You will help shape, execute, and deliver P&C solutions for a broad range of customer use cases primarily from large enterprise customers.

The successful candidate must have exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and demonstrated technical experience leading cross-functional teams. We are looking for a proven leader with the ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new, ambiguous projects. Leaders will develop and support market expansion, driving customer consulting delivery, and will be responsible for driving the methodology by which we deliver P&C. This person will work across Global Teams, Customer Segments, Shared Delivery Teams, and AWS Partners.

Secondarily, you will also contribute to the development and management of the ProServe People & Change GSP portfolio of engagements, standards for delivery excellence, and support go to market strategies in partnership with global Sales & Account Management teams, ProServe Practice Managers, Customer Success Managers, territory leaders, etc. You will cross-functionally work with practice teams around the globe, PS Leadership team, Commercial management team, solution architecture, operations, finance, marketing, and Customer Stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities
• Engage customers – collaborate with sales leaders and professional service teams to develop strong customer and partner relationships and build a growing business in a geographic territory, driving AWS adoption in key markets and accounts.
• Build and lead great teams – attract top IT talent to build high performing teams of consultants with superior domain depth, outstanding customer relationship skills, and a career focus on digital and change enablement capabilities. Assemble and develop the very best in the world.
• Coach and teach – collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use P&C solutions and services.
• Deliver value – lead high quality sales and delivery of a variety of customized engagements with partners and customers.
• Build organization assets – Design and roll out P&C strategies and detailed plansthat help companies evolve to a digitally fluent culture that support cloud transformation, and are aligned to the People & Change methods and best practices.
• Participate in business development, including proposals and customer relationships.
• Build the P&C practice by helping with market research, thought leadership, capability development, sales enablement, and knowledge management.
• Deliver in AWS methodology and mechanisms to enhance solution quality.
• Engage with customer stakeholders, consultants and contractors for project set up, delivery, and closure.
• Engage in a continuous feedback loop to inform ongoing innovation of solution offerings.
• Contribute to practice development initiatives including culture building, internal community involvement, eminence, recruiting, whitepapers, etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in consultative delivery and customer-facing roles, focused on enterprise customers.
• 7+ years of experience managing and delivering large-scale People and Change Acceleration projects within digital transformations.
• At least 7 years of combined experience in 3 or more of the following areas: OCM, Org Change Management, Cloud Transformation, Digital Transformation, Talent strategy, Talent management, Workforce analytics, Adaptive workforce strategy & design, Digital role design, Strategic workforce planning.
• Proficiency in presenting to C-level executives (CIO, CEO, CTO, CISO, etc.) and technical subject matter experts.
• Hands-on experience in engagements where People & Change execution was part of an enterprise level transformation initiative.
• Analytical, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization, adept at managing multiple workstreams.
• Must enjoy spending time with customers (internal and external) and other market representatives to understand their needs, and to define innovative solutions that meet the end customer’s requirements.
• Must be flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous Big Consulting experience.
• Possess AWS experience and certifications.
• Possess OCM and PMI certifications.
• 20+ years workstream leadership experience in managing Workforce Transformation as part of OCM delivery.
• Managed and delivered IT engagements for large, Enterprise customers.
• Familiarity with AWS and Enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Understands the value proposition of the public cloud and has managed a cloud migration engagement (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Experience with Agile Enterprise IT Management frameworks (e.g. SAFe ®, ITIL ® Sigma, Agile/SCRUM processes, etc.)
This is a customer facing role. You are required to travel to client locations to deliver professional services when needed.

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $193,000- $262,000 (yr.); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
