We offer flexible paid time off!- Great work deserves **recognition. **We have a robust recognition program, with ongoing and enhanced awards for exemplary performance.**How You Will Contribute**:Reporting to the Head of Legal, Caribbean & Latin America (CALA), as a Contracts Professional, you will be part of a high-performing, customer-focused group of legal professionals providing negotiation and transactional support to our customers in Ciena’s CALA region.- You will draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements, ranging from complex technology agreements, various forms of software licenses, hardware, support and maintenance, professional services contracts, and non-disclosure agreements, advising on liabilities, legal restrictions and risks associated with such agreements.- ** Procurement experience **reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts with various types of product suppliers, service providers and real estate to support Ciena’s administrative offices and manufacturing plants.- You will partner with the Ciena Sales, Commercial Management, Finance and Operations teams to provide advice and counsel, manage internal communications, facilitate escalations and approvals, address queries with our customers and internal stakeholders, with a focus on the provision of exemplary customer service.- You will team with in-house attorneys in support of large complex transactions.- You will participate in projects and activities that require a legal view on corporate, tax, compliance and data privacy, attend to audits and monitor industry trends
