We encourage people to have ownership, make decisions and accept responsibility for them.WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are seeking a Junior Financial Controller to join our Czech Finance team.This is a PART-TIME assignment with minimum weekly limit of 20 working hours.SOME OF THE INTERESTING CHALLENGES AHEAD OF YOU
- Monthly Reporting:
- Assist in preparing the monthly reporting package in accordance with Group reporting requirements.
- Conduct variance analysis of actuals to budget and provide commentary on discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Finance team to present financial results.
- Bookkeeping and Accounting:
- Ensure correct bookkeeping and accounting for multiple entities in compliance with CZ GAAP.
- Work closely with the internal accounting team/outsourced accounting service providers to maintain accurate financial records.
- Intercompany Transactions:
- Prepare intercompany elimination journals in line with Group chart of accounts.
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual IFRS adjustments.
- Audit and Compliance:
- Participate in the semi-annual and annual audit processes, preparing necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
- Analyze costs (OpEx, CapEx & G&A) compared to budget and historical data, providing insights on variances.
- Monitor potential risks & opportunities in the forecasts, by actively engaging with the relevant business stakeholders.
- Process Optimization:
- Optimize financial processes within Yardi, particularly in the closing and reporting agenda.
- Tableau and Data Analytics:
- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards to improve reporting process, support financial reporting and decision-making.
- Utilize Tableau for data analysis and ad-hoc reporting.
- Champion the utilisation of P3’s BI platform in the Czech office.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE
- Min. 3 years of experience in Finance
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of CZ GAAP and IFRS
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail * Strong communication skills
- Language skills: Czech or Slovak (native or bilingual level), English (B2 level)
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Continuous improvement mindset with a strong sense of ownership & problem solving
