The School offers the only Landscape Architecture programme in Ireland, with the School having established an excellent reputation for design excellence with its faculty and adjunct staff maintaining an international profile.Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Fellow in Landscape Architectural Design. Applicants must have a relevant graduate level qualification, academic or professional practice experience, teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level, an understanding of student-centred teaching, an ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, excellent interpersonal and communication skill, and excellent administrative and organisational skills.UCD Landscape Architecture provides a creative atmosphere – bright and airy design studios, well-equipped workshop and building laboratory, exhibition spaces and the best architectural library in the country.The successful candidate will join a strong team in UCD Landscape Architecture and contribute to the teaching on the BSc Landscape Architecture and MLA programmes, and engage with colleagues in related scholarly activity.The School is located in the College of Engineering and Architecture which was awarded an Athena SWAN bronze award in 2019 for its shared commitment to ensuring that their faculty, staff and students experience an equal, diverse and inclusive environment.Fixed Salary: €40,000 Per Annum Pro Rata @ 0.5 FTEClosing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on the 4th of July 2024.Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
