• Associate professor for general psychology

Expected starting date:

• 23st of September, 2024 or by agreement.

Working hours:

• part-time: 50 %.

Job description:

• provides teaching in bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral study programmes (including supervising and opposing theses) and participating in the development of the study programmes
• participates in the doctoral study programmes
• participates in creative activities – especially in independently managing complex research and development tasks, active publishing in peer-reviewed journals and other forms of publication outputs, supervising/leading/coordinating basic/applied research projects, including securing sources of financing, participating in scientific conferences and professional meetings, and presenting results of creative activities
• supports the third role of the university – especially in the form of popularizing creative activity, in the administration

• appointment as associate professor in the field of general / social psychology or psychology recognized according to valid regulations of the Czech Republic
• prerequisites for pedagogical and research activities
• active scientific and publication activity in the field of psychology (with emphasis on publications in IF/Scopus journals) in the last 5 years
• experience in solving scientific grants
• EU research level: R3 – Established/R4 – Leading (research group)
• knowledge of the English language at B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
• knowledge of the Czech language at C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
• excellent communication skills
• independent, responsible and creative approach to work
• civil and moral integrity
