Responsibilities
People
- Oversee from a strategic level the in store recruitment, talent and development process
- Store Athletes create the emotional connection to Nike and are our most diverse team. Lead, inspire and develop diverse store teams through inclusion and a culture of belonging in safe environment
- Strong ability to build relationships with cross functional teams in EHQ and the League to transform the way we operate and deliver results elevating the voice of our firstline
- Oversee a first class training calendar for teams/athletes development with measurable number of hours of trainings
- Coordinate with NAX the MVP & Maxim awards (QTRLY + YRLY)
- Partner with the Athletic Director on the strategy and execution of the engagement survey with respective actions plans
Services / Membership
- Elevate the membership offense at HOI with targets on membership revenues, app downloads and linked transactions. Supervision on membership training will be key
- Strong people leadership experience – experience leading, inspiring and directing diverse teams, and leading through others to deliver business results
- Deep understanding of consumer/member engagement drivers and how to leverage those to drive growth in an omni-channel retail environment
Business
- Deliver the vision and strategy for HOI in coordination with the Athletic Director, developing digitally enabled ecosystem for consumer, increasing engagement and purchase frequency of our members to drive growth in physical and digital
- Drive productivity & profitability aligned with strategic goals leading through retail and functional excellence whilst delivering a premium consumer experience
- Organize resources to ensure customer satisfaction and that all of the store KPIs are met to ensure productivity, profitability and growth. Including budget targets vs FCST/BGT, UPT, AUR.
- Influence products assortment and commercial calendar for HOI with the correct insights from the FOH Head Coaches
- Ensure a consistent level of operational standards and performance across all stores, including LP, HR and Facilities processes
- Provide regional insights on retail performance, relevant market information and opportunities & challenges in order to drive business results
- Deep understanding & experience of retail business levers – operations, visual merchandising, omni-channel services
- Ability to deliver retail operational excellence with innovative ideas and partnering on ideas on inventory control management • P&L management including control of payroll, Ebit tracking and WFM
- Deliver Quarterly and Annual targets
Requirements
- Fluent French and English. Other languages will be a plus
- More than 5 years’ experience in a similar retail environment or Flagship stores
- Team player with senior management experience: high turnover / large and diverse teams
- Proactive problem solver with strong organizational skills
- Expert in retail KPIs
- Strong skills with MS office pack
- Proven record of driving teams on premium service delivery
- Aesthetic understanding of the product proposition within high-end retail
- History of delivering product presentation excellence
