Drives and executes the Omni marketing strategy by category through customer first thinking, consistency of messaging across each marketing channel, leveraging merchandise priorities, company content and promotional priorities. Effectively builds and maintains cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders to accomplish category marketing goals.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
MARKETING EXECUTION & STRATEGY
- Utilizes the Sales Promotions Calendar, Content Priorities, Product Priorities, and Briefs to provide relevant inputs into monthly planning process, including allocations by business for each merchandise division and all segmented/targeted communications
- Builds, influences and executes strategic vision by category across all marketing channels
- Represents the category in marketing execution meetings and acts as the expert for the category to provide recommendations and move actions forward
- Owns the proofing process to ensure pricing statements and photo asset selections are correctly reflected in the design and represent the content strategy and communicating with applicable teams on updates, shifts or requests
- Manages assets and offer information for merchant teams by utilizing merchant offer pool to create offers and images in censhare for creative/production
- Implements pricing and image changes that need to be made after Business Reviews across channels
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
- Strong collaboration with Marketing and Merchant partners to ensure promotional and content strategies are implemented across the Omni-channel experience
- Strategizes with Sr. Coordinator and Assistant Manager on category strategy, while assisting to ensure briefs are written in a way that can be best translated by activation
- Coordinates connection points to discuss execution and placement plan for key initiatives and requests updates from activation and creative teams on exposure where necessary
- Collaborates as needed with the appropriate teams to validate that offer linking strategies provide a positive and easy customer experience in digital marketing
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- 1-3 years of relevant marketing experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong partner and collaborator with peers, cross functional teams, and at times leaders
- Strong and influential voice with peers and cross functional teams
- Adapts positively to change and works well through ambiguity
