The Dolby Sales Operations Manager is a key member of the Revenue Operations and Sales Strategy team for Dolby.io. Using independent discretion and judgment will manage key business metrics optimizing growth while validating and improving a scalable business model for Dolby.io. This individual will be responsible for optimizing the Go-to-Market sales initiatives and establishing highly repeatable (and scalable) sales processes.
This role will have ownership of the sales funnel process and reporting in Salesforce. They will develop data-driven strategies and manage the tools necessary to make informed decisions and propose tactics to support a diverse portfolio of business ventures. Partner with Senior Leaders and Executives to identify pipeline forecast opportunities for process improvement. This individual will manage identified strategies driving growth, performance, and operational efficiency throughout the sales organization. Be a key partner to Sales and Operations Management and report sales performance to various key stakeholders including the Executive Leadership Team, Sales Marketing and Finance. This position requires negotiation skills, business acumen, relationship building, analytical skills, and strong Salesforce experience.
Responsibilities :
- Align sales objectives with company business and financial objectives by developing short-term and long-term strategies.
- Create and implement sales pipeline reporting and dashboards that create a visualization of the sales process: where deals are stalling, and sales activities that are creating the most value.
- Partner with Sales Leaders on weekly pipeline & forecast calls ensuring business-critical metrics are achieved.
- Create sales enablement processes for providing the sales organization with information, content, and tools. Coordinate with Product Marketing to deliver sales enablement materials that help sells reps become more effective.
- Partner with stakeholder in decision making based on evidence from identifying patterns and trends to accelerate business growth and ensure optimal customer experience.
- Shape sales strategy by driving the sales process through data analysis; predicting customer behavior, identifying new revenue opportunities by analyzing data from customer usage and pipeline reports.
- Manage sales opportunities through comprehensive planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting. Create reporting for monthly revenue performance to key stakeholder.
- Investigate the changing cost structure in a proactive manner while making pricing recommendations to support sales growth with data tracking and analysis.
- Drive the operational Go-to-Market strategy for new product launches including research of current market conditions, competitive offers, and development of strategy for guiding customer’s purchase of complete portfolio.
- Collaborate with leaders across business groups to anticipate and analyze potential issues in order to drive process improvement.
- Work closely with Engineering, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Marketing to further define and drive efficient execution of the roadmap.
- Be a trusted advisor for leadership, and cross-functional teams, driving process improvement and ensuring customer-driven deadlines are met.
- Ability to synthesize data and present it succinctly to influence decisions; ability to adapt presentation and communication style to fit the situation/audience.
- Partner with senior leaders and executives to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- 3+ year’s experience in Sales Operations Manager or 8+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, mathematics
- Strong negotiations skills using data analytical to persuade
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous experience managing SFDC or other CRM
- Experience adapting messaging to multiple audiences
- Knowledge and experience with consultative and sales process for SaaS and metered billing sales
- Previous roles that entailed cross-functional teamwork
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to assimilate complex concepts and clearly articulate business value
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work within various stakeholders in a simultaneous manner
