THE POSITION:

FanDuel is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager, Casino Retention to drive our customer retention and marketing initiatives. You will play a key role on the Customer Marketing team, with full ownership over key retention strategies, and collaborate with multiple departments within the company including but not limited to Brand, Commercial, Growth, Product, and Customer Service. This is an exciting opportunity to help elevate revenue driving marketing initiatives at a premier gaming company.

THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Lead the Casino Retention team in constantly optimizing our programs, looking for opportunities to improve reach and deliverability, optimize channel strategy, and improve operational efficiency
  • Set the strategic direction of a wide array of Casino retention programs, using data driven insights and a strong understanding of key business priorities
  • Assist in managing a multi-million dollar monthly promotional budget, allocating spend based on commercially driven insights, reporting back on campaign effectiveness
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of multiple retention & CRM strategies & campaigns, from ideation to execution to evaluation across email, mobile, onsite, and paid channels
  • Drive a test & learn approach: lead the systematic creation and execution of testing plans, and ensure results get shared & implemented
  • Cultivate extensive knowledge of our data architecture and segmentation strategy; assist in continuously improving & refining our approach
  • Drive collaboration with key stakeholders to collaborate on campaigns and maintain a continuous feedback loop. Serve as a subject-matter expert, advising business stakeholders on CRM best practices, including design, copy, and channel strategy
  • Optimize our programs, look for opportunities to improve reach and deliverability, define channel strategy, and improve operational efficiency
  • Lead on our promotional tooling and drive automation wherever possible
  • Recruit and identify top talent while creating an inspiring environment for direct reports to learn and grow

THE STATS:
What we’re looking for in our next teammate 

  • 5+ years of experience in email and/or mobile marketing, with experience creating and managing Marketing campaigns from start to finish
  • 2+ years of management or mentorship experience
  • iGaming/Casino experience strongly desired
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred 
  • Strong understanding of Customer Engagement Platform (Braze preferred)
  • Knowledge of multiple marketing channels and compliance considerations for each (CAN-SPAM, double opt-ins, etc) 
  • Strong understanding of CRM platform metrics
  • Basic HTML skills
  • Has a positive attitude and loves opportunities to collaborate with others
  • Strong organizational skills & effective at project management
  • Willing to work nontraditional hours, including weekends and evening shifts 
  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience of playing FanDuel or competitive products a plus
