The UK Marketing Team is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to lead and drive the Seasonal Events experience in the UK as well as own certain parts of the EU-wide experience. We are looking for a creative, customer-obsessed, and entrepreneurial person to join our team in our London office.

Key job responsibilities
1. Own the Amazon.co.uk Seasonal Events customer experience and performance, setting and owning input and output goals, aligned to UK business priorities.
2. Drive the EU-wide automation and CX development roadmap for Amazon’s seasonal events experience.
3. Monitor Seasonal Event performance against goals, reporting through regular business reviews and utilizing insight to identify opportunities for improvement.
4. Partner with teams across the business to develop marketing and content plans for Events, sharing expertise to optimize customer experience and Event performance.
5. Collaborate with WW product and tech teams to launch new and optimize existing features for Events.
6. Act as EU SME on defined Events priorities, including owning a large project in areas such as customer experience, automation, traffic, etc.
7. Own planning and execution of Event merchandising for key seasonal events, collaborating with WW design and product teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

A day in the life
The Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for the customer experience of Amazon’s seasonal and gifting events, such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or Christmas across the UK and rest of EU. They will be working with our global tech teams, retail categories, and EU Cross-Site and Deals & Events teams to build scalable experiences that inspire customers and help them discover new products on Amazon and contribute to the engagement and growth of our customer base.
In this role, they will oversee the EU-wide CX and automation roadmap, and planning and execution on-site (amazon.co.uk) and off-site (social, email, influencers, associates) marketing channels and will leverage performance data and testing to develop recommendations, best practices, and playbooks. The ideal candidate will be customer-obsessed, with a high attention to detail and comfortable with dealing with ambiguity. He or She will act independently to develop a strategy and see it through to execution, with an ability to operate cross-functionally with partners to drive consensus, and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• You hold a Bachelor degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or Communications
• You have a 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, brand management or product management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English written and verbal
• Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a passion and aptitude for solving problems
• You have good command of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)

You might also have:
• An MBA degree
• Additional experience in CRM tools and digital merchandizing
• Fluency in any other EU language (French, German, Spanish, Italian)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Managing the full lifecycle of complex marketing-focused initiatives for which you define the strategy and measurement with limited guidance
• Experimenting, understanding, measuring and evaluating how your marketing-focused initiatives impact customer experience and business outcomes
• Communicating effectively and aligning on the marketing objectives, strategy, and milestones to senior leaders and key stakeholders
• Creating, optimizing, and driving adoption of critical mechanisms to ensure strategy is longer-term successful and sustainable
