Reporting to the Director of regional product marketing, this role will own and execute initiatives around understanding key personas, creating differentiated messaging and positioning, while simultaneously orchestrating integrated campaigns to create even more raving fans of Slack.

We’re looking for a proven leader who thrives working with enterprise sales and customer success teams, seeks opportunities to speak in front of customers and field-tests the work she/he creates.

What you will be doing

  • Work with central solution marketing team and cross-functional partners to regionalize and constantly refine Slack’s value proposition, differentiated benefits and business outcomes for target personas
  • Identify regional market opportunities and assess organizational readiness to prioritize target personas for the region
  • Drive cross-functional, integrated programs with Campaigns, Content Marketing, Demand Gen, Field Marketing and Events teams to build awareness and increase consideration among target personas in the region
  • Lead with integrity, passion, and purpose, representing Slack as a subject matter expert at industry events and with analysts
  • Engage directly with customers, prospects, sales and customer success teams to develop your POV, test and refine messaging
  • Align with central solution marketing team to deliver the appropriate product message in the region as well as being the regional voice for central team
  • Partner with the Salesforce team to drive further awareness and consideration of Slack with the Salesforce’s install base
  • Partner with sales enablement to increase adoption of solutions content and ensure a constant feedback loop to drive future content needs

What you should have

  • 6+ years of product or solutions marketing experience
  • At least 4 years experience in B2B enterprise software
  • Ability to connect technical concepts with customer value and express it succinctly
  • Ability to craft clear and compelling messages as well as willingness to roll up your sleeves to build externally-facing assets and internal deliverables
  • Highly-proactive, self-starter capable of independently leading several projects with limited direction
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to educate and inspire small groups and conference audiences
  • A love for storytelling in a simple, thoughtful, and visual manner
  • Ability to drive business as a hub of diverse members
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Business level English, fluent level Japanese
