What you’ll achieve
Transitions Manager Role in the Dell’s Client Supply Chain Planning team is responsible for enabling smooth product transitions across Notebooks and Desktops. The role is a high visibility role that supports Dell’s customers internally and externally and gives you an opportunity to work directly with Supply Planners, Sales, FMMs, Product Line Managers and Procurement teams spread across Unites States and Asia. The role serves as a stepping stone for a career that can pivot into Demand Planning in Dell’s Commercial or Consumer Client products.

You will:

• Manage product transitions in Notebooks and Desktops across multiple supply chains such as BTO, Stocked products etc.
• Lead weekly meetings with stakeholders across Sales , Procurement and Product Marketing to drive alignment on issues related to transitions
• Pro-actively identify risks and manage them by demand shaping to available inventory and end of life part options that are out of inventory as well as work with peers in Europe and Asia to drive optimal solutions for oversells and order fulfillment issues
• Leverage demand shaping strategies to help sell through product and minimize E&O Risk
• Manage complex mapping of parts across multiple products to ensure we optimize usage while not overselling to available inventory

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of related supply planning experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of demand supply and forecasting methodologies especially attach rate forecasting for parts as well as knowledge of order management, fulfillment concepts and processes
• Excellent Communication ( written, verbal English language proficiency a must) and influence skills
• Excellent data analytics and Microsoft Excel skills, Power BI experience would be a plus
• English advanced
