Amazon is seeking a talented, creative, and dynamic leader to support Amazon’s rapidly-growing omni-channel grocery business. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting and groundbreaking new initiative at Amazon in its early stages. The Principal Product Marketing Manager for Prime will play a critical role to support rapid growth of the business. This marketing and product leader will drive the strategy and development of Prime benefits in our stores. They will conceive and propose new marketing strategies and concepts, and guide those projects to successful test and completion. In this role you will be expected to demonstrate analytical acumen as well as creative skills: you should have the ability to appropriately use marketing science to inform creative decisions and channel strategies. You should also be familiar working closely with product teams to build out new products and feature that achieve desired outcomes and goals.
The successful candidate will have a track record of delivering highly complex projects. The leader will have a deep understanding of marketing, product, program management and business expertise with a solid track-record of achievements across these areas. They will need to grasp the big picture quickly, create ambitious goals, and successfully execute across online and physical stores businesses to achieve these goals. Most importantly, they will need to inspire confidence and build effective relationships with business partners locally and globally.
The right person for this role will be able to work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (jumping into detail and execution where required). Key Responsibilities:
• Maximize customer acquisition and engagement through the development of new brand, channel and strategic initiatives
• Deeply understand and articulate the target customer; obsessively understand new and competitive products, trends, and opportunities
• Understand key traffic drivers (onsite, email, social, etc.) and how to measure, track, and optimize them to accomplish business goals, document the results, and share best practices across the team
• Partner with stakeholders within and outside the team to drive critical strategic projects
• Understand how to get the most out of the tools you use to do your job and challenge the existing tool set, successfully working with technical teams to propose and evaluate enhancements that improve efficiency and functionality.
• lead cross functional teams and develop business requirements docs, working with product, legal, GTM and other teams
• Build and operate effective and efficient mechanisms to identify opportunities, tackle challenges and enable execution

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years of relevant management and marketing experience
• Experience conceiving and executing complex, multi-channel marketing strategies and plans; strong preference for B2C.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills – ability to articulate ideas and persuade stakeholders.
• Excellent business judgment and strategic aptitude. Bias towards data-based decision making. Strong analytical skills and ability to derive actionable conclusions from large data sets.
• Strong operational skills. Adept at understanding, deconstructing, streamlining and optimizing complex large-scale business processes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience driving online and physical stores marketing and/or product strategies.
• Experience working with loyalty programs
• Experience working in grocery
• Experience working in a strategic role/function (e.g. strategy consulting, corp. strategy role)
• Excellent organization, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
• Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent
