The Business Products Engineering (BPE) team is an end-to-end product organization that develops industry leading enterprise products to accelerate the Meta Business Group (MBG). To provide the best customer experience for the businesses who use our advertising platform, we empower our sales and marketing teams with tools to help them manage customer relationships through powerful insights and strategic guidance. We’re looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about technology, innovation, advertising and partnerships to join our Business Products Engineering, Product Marketing Team. In this role, the Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving product requirements, gathering and executing internal product launches, and driving adoption across the business organization. The ideal candidate has a track record demonstrating strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and decision making under uncertainty. The candidate must thrive with cross-functional teams and exhibit excellent communication skills. Ideally this candidate will have prior experience with internal tools and products that support Sales, Support, Operations and Marketing functions as well as collaboration software, web analytics, and enterprise data that supports all of these applications.
Product Marketing Manager, Business Products Engineering Responsibilities:
- Lead problem assessment, quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, and represent the requirements of the business internally with Product Management and Engineering
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the broader Meta ecosystem to develop strategic product direction and positioning
- Lead audience segmentation and opportunity assessment efforts to prioritize product opportunities for helping Meta business teams work more efficiently and effectively to serve partner needs
- Keep the customer in mind throughout the product development process to ensure product market fit and successful product execution and launch
- Plan and lead cross-functional efforts to drive successful product beta programs and launches
- Drive product adoption and usage by developing and managing detailed, long-term adoption plans or partnering with regional PMM teams where available
- Partner effectively with Product Management and relevant business stakeholders (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Operations) to create successful product marketing communications, including all user-facing materials and training
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- 8+ years work experience, with at least 2+ years working in a product marketing, product management or product marketing operations capacity (working with sales and or engineering leadership)
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership within a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- Quantitative analytical experience and communication skills
- Problem solving skills with experience providing business insights and recommendations from multiple input sources (e.g. data sets, interview feedback, research)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree
- Background in online marketing, ad operations, analytics, customer relationship management, and/or strategy consulting
