Job summary
AWS customers are driving some of the most exciting innovation in their industries today, creating enormous value from data and analytics, and many do that by leveraging the expertise of our AWS APN partners.
This role is responsible for leading the strategic segment plans and development of competencies focused on Data and Analytics for AWS APN consulting and technology partners, including practice development and go to market strategies. In this role, you will work closely with AWS product teams, Worldwide Specialist Organization, Partner Development Managers, Partner Success Managers, Solution Architects, Professional Services, Training and Certification team, Segment sales teams and marketing, to guide partners in meeting their customers demand in accelerating their adoption to cloud and leveraging data to derive value from data insights.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Develop the AWS partner strategy for Data & Analytics both internally and externally
• Own the execution of the strategic plan for each market segment
• Build and own C-level relationships from partners through to customers
• Prioritise investment for partners who focus on the Data & Analytics market
• Work with cross functional groups including training and solutions architecture to build enablement programs that enable strategic partners to develop capabilities and proficiency
• Work collaboratively to develop new solutions to market with product management, solution architect, and professional service teams
• Provide leadership, guidance and work collaboratively with AWS Partners to create packaged implementation services and solutions
• Prepare and Lead business reviews to AWS senior leaders within US East
• Effectively team with PR, marketing, legal, and support
• Identify strategic partners that would like to build their Data and Analytics practice with AWS including leading startups, consulting companies, and established technology vendors
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
More than 10+ years of business development, enterprise account management, or product management experience
• Strong experience in managing large global partners to build and roll-out global programs and campaigns appropriate for their goals
• Consistently exceeds key performance metrics
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
• Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving emerging/disruptive technologies like open source software, virtualization, and Software as a Service delivery models.
• Ability to think and work creatively to develop unique joint value propositions and product strategy within a partner ecosystem
• Knowledge and experience in data and analytics solutions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
More than 10+ years of business development, enterprise account management, or product management experience
• MBA or equivalent.
