The Meta Brand Marketing team is looking for an accomplished performance marketer with a track record for bringing creative and cohesive storytelling to every touchpoint. The In-Product Marketing Director will bring to life our brand through strategic and innovative thinking, diligent and data-driven execution, stakeholder influence, and clear communication skills. They will need to demonstrate repeated prior success designing, building and scaling marketing programs, having done so in close collaboration with cross-functional teams in Product, Creative, Data Science, Insights, Comms, Product Growth, Policy, and Business.

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Director to build a team of marketers responsible for defining and executing on how Meta connects with people within our own product surfaces. This leader will be responsible for developing distinctive, effective, and highly relevant marketing that is additive to people’s experience on our platforms and positively shifts their perspective and sentiment of our company and brands. The ideal candidate will be consumer obsessed, with a proven track record for marrying deep analytic thinking with a flair for creativity, creating moments of real delight and consumer value.

To be successful in the role, this person will need to be a highly effective cross-functional leader, consistently building strong internal partnerships, influencing, resolving conflict, building alignment, and working effectively across teams to execute strategy. This leader will proactively detect the largest challenges impacting the team’s execution and make decisions that resolve and manage dependencies.

Director, In-Product Marketing, Meta Responsibilities:

  • Create value and delight for people in-product to positively impact the way they think and feel about our company and brands
  • Partner closely with Central Products to build systems and structure to develop, evaluate, optimize and scale in product marketing programs
  • Drive alignment across Brand and PMGC including research methodology, measurement approach, audience, and briefs
  • Drive consistency and rigor for marketing planning including securing resources to support key priorities
  • Champion creativity and partner closely with cross-functional teams to build and optimize prototypes based on testing and stakeholder feedback
  • Build, manage, and support a team of marketers, including people managers, ensuring alignment between individual’s strengths and business needs
  • Partner with brand and product leadership to influence business strategy with a view of customer and market opportunities
  • Model inclusive behaviors and build a diverse organization that values, respects, and taps into different backgrounds and perspectives

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 15 or more years of experience with consumer products or product marketing
  • 10 or more years of experience with team leadership, people management, cross-functional team leadership, team building, or team management
  • Track record of building partnerships with cross-functional teams (including product management) and shaping multi-year roadmaps and go to market strategies
  • Leadership experience in a global role with global product launches, and knowledge of diverse cultural, social and business landscapes
  • Experience owning and overseeing multiple portfolio area and marketing vision while creating buy-in and enthusiasm from peers, individual contributors and other leaders
  • Experience influencing and leading strategies across multiple lines of business and matrixed teams
  • Experience identifying and analyzing complex, long term, critical problems facing the relevant areas of the business and drove solutions for them
  • Understands organizational health, can articulate an organizational vision, and can effectively diagnose and make recommendations to solve complex issues that may span multiple teams (including decisions around resource prioritization, top-level goal alignment, and balancing impact with team longevity)
  • Experience launching and scaling in product marketing programs
  • Experience leading marketing strategy and driving scaled programs from concept through execution
  • Full funnel marketing experience
