ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible an Amazon company and perpetual innovator is looking to add an analytically-minded Senior Marketing Manager to its Amazon marketing team, focused on partnering with product and tech teams to build new features to increase highly-qualified traffic to Audible-owned experiences and acquire new customers into subscription. This role will be directly involved in optimization of existing features across desktop and mobile platforms, including apps. The Senior Marketing Manager will work closely with the product team to develop business cases for new features and size the impact across all marketplaces where Audible is present. This role will frequently collaborate with partners at Amazon across multiple functions to create new customer experiences or test and optimize existing ones.

As Senior Marketing Manager, you will…

  • Partner closely with product management and engineering teams to identify and build new site features to create new ingress points for Audible members and non-members.
  • Work with Amazon partner teams to identify new and optimize current ingress points from key traffic sources including navigation, search, and email to drive traffic to Audible pages.
  • Drive incremental progress on CX across mobile web and app platforms including improvements to the Audible storefront experience, sample player, Wish List, and email journey flows.
  • Identify untapped areas of opportunity for creation of new introduction points across relevant subsidiaries to increase awareness of and exposure for the Audible format (i.e. Goodreads and Amazon Music) and build out business cases for new feature prioritization.
  • Coordinate initiatives with global counterparts, building global solutions that immediately scale and reduce future tech debt caused by a marketplace-specific focus.
  • Communicate results effectively with varying levels of the organization verbally and in written form and effectively tailors communication style for the audience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Math/Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or a similar field.
  • 6+ years’ experience in digital lifecycle marketing and/or product management, defining and driving new programs, campaigns, and initiatives toward launch.
  • Demonstrated understanding of messaging strategy, user experience and persuasive marketing techniques in driving engagement with new or existing features or benefits.
  • Successful track record in working closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver on aggressive schedules.
  • Experience relying on analytics and data to shape marketing decisions and empower tracking the effectiveness of change.
  • Experience working with a cross-functional team across brand, product, UX and data science to meet aggressive goals.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Ability to travel 4-6x annually.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-motivated, nimble and highly results-driven in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary rather than delegate.
  • MBA from a top business school and a BS in a quantitative field.
  • Previous experience managing Paid and Organic search marketing.
  • Basic SQL aptitude.
  • Ability to build Excel-based acquisition models and forecasts a plus.
  • Domain expertise in Amazon’s ecosystemwebsite, apps, and devicesa plus.
  • Background in marketing a subscription content service.
