Marketing Manager, Strategic Account Leader (Hybrid Role)

Samsung is hiring a marketing leader to drive growth at one of our largest customers, Costco. The Marketing Manager will report to the Senior Director of Marketing who has scope for both Costco and Amazon. They will lead strategy development and execution of Omni-channel marketing efforts that drive brand consideration and accelerate conversion. This person will own strategic innovation to define next generation shopper experiences across digital and in-store. Finally, this person will be seen as a change agent, sharing these new best practices across lines of business, influencing to drive step change improvements in persuasion and conversion across all Samsung Consumer Electronics categories.

Role and Responsibilities

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present the Annual Marketing Plan to internal and external senior leadership teams.
  • Drive your strategy by leading a team of cross-functional stakeholders to execute with excellence.
  • Influence senior executives via ongoing strategic updates at regular business reviews.
  • Partner with our creative agencies and retail partners to develop creative briefs, design, sell-in and execute marketing plans across online, in-store.
  • Drive the agenda for retailer specific assisted selling tools and training that enables us to more effectively convert the in-store browser into a buyer of Samsung products.
  • Get on-line shoppers excited about our innovative portfolio by launching best in class content across both product detail pages and our Samsung brand store on Costco.com. You will partner directly with Costco merchants to sell in and execute your vision for content excellence.
  • Create a Content Health Dashboard and share monthly updates with senior leadership describing actions you will drive to improve content health.
  • Be seen as our ongoing content expert and change agent, scouring for industry best practices to develop innovative new solutions to that will enable a step-change in conversion.

Skills and Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 4-year degree coupled with 6+ years’ experience in digital and in-store marketing.
  • Experience partnering with national retailers is required.
  • Prior experience managing creative agencies is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a consumer electronics environment preferred.
  • Innovator Mindset: Ability to create a vision, define new ways of thinking, create new roadmaps and concepts, navigate ambiguity, define and execute test/learn scenarios and influence leadership to invest behind new ideas.
  • Persuasive with strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and the demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and influence.
  • Superior project management skills, including the ability to prepare written plans and schedules, identify objectives, coordinate and direct project teams, and manage budgets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with high attention to detail.
  • High-level of confidence, integrity, enthusiasm, executive presence that fits a fast-paced, energetic and proactive organization.

Physical/Travel Requirements:

Travel 0 -25% domestically

Position will be remote 2 days per week, Onsite 3 days per week based out of the Bellevue, WA office.
