Job Description
As the Executive Director of Talent Acquisition – Retail, you will serve as the executive business leader driving the vision, creation, development, and management of key short- and long-term strategies that support hiring across our Retail Business. This role will allow you to be seen as an innovative thinker, by successfully building and implementing a wide variety of approaches for a multi-faceted recruitment strategy to include agencies, conferences, college relations, academic skills programs, diversity strategy, referral programs, recruitment marketing (social media) and more.
This position is a highly visible and impactful role, interacting with senior leaders and affords you the opportunity to showcase vision, collaboration, strong operational expertise, team development, execution and results. Your role will also be to serve as a member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team (TALT) and as such you will be expected to provide an enterprise and strategic perspective, which will include, but not be limited to your area of responsibility. These represent the senior most TA professionals and leaders in the organization and report into the Vice President of Talent Acquisition. As a senior leader, you will be expected to reinforce not only that we deliver against our goals and objectives, but simultaneously you will hold yourself and the team accountable for representing our Heart@Work behaviors in all we do.

You will accomplish this by:
• Successfully creating relationships internally with business groups and their senior leadership
• Creating operational processes and structure that your team can follow to make them efficient and effective with hiring top talent
• Leveraging a sense of urgency and innovation to forecast and hire niche, hard to find talent in an rapidly changing, fast pace, and expansive growth environment
• Defining recruiting metrics and dashboards that monitor the overall health, performance and effectiveness of the multiple teams and processes
• Improving candidate pipelines for all open positions, through strategies that leverage a dedicated team, outsource partners, agencies, and other innovative sourcing channels

Required Qualifications
• 15+ years of experience with progressive growth and diverse experiences In Talent Acquisition, HR or other relevant experience where a clear vision and strong communication skills, cross functional and client collaboration, team development and execution through metrics/KPIs were required
• 5+ years of experience leading recruiting teams and all aspects of strategy were displayed, including annual planning, headcount expansion, budgeting, contract management, and hiring delivery in an agile environment
• 5+ years of consultative and influential leadership with clients, partners, and the business
• 3+ years of lead generation/sourcing/marketing, including the use of innovative, diverse strategies, technologies, and tools that strength our brand and improve pipelines
• 3+ years leading leaders and providing both strategic and operational direction to Talent Acquisition or related HR teams.
• Previous experience leading a Talent Acquisition team supporting a Fortune company
• Previous experience developing and engaging diverse leaders across a large team environment
• Outstanding organizational skills, specifically to ensure timely and proactive follow up with leadership and team
Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside of CVS Health, with a focus on influencing and collaborating with senior leaders
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
