Product Marketing Manager GAMMA

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting to the GAMMA marketing director, the Product Marketing Manager will manage two people, develop and execute a leading-edge marketing plan against a portfolio of BCG products, including the templates and approach to develop both traditional and digital marketing content. Marketing activities include product marketing campaign management, collateral development, video production, management of external agencies, internal publications, marketing measurement, liaising with conference and event teams (BCG-branded or BCG-sponsored) etc. This individual will also collaborate with GAMMA marketing team.
Marketing plans and strategy:
Develop marketing strategies, tools and techniques for products and tools within BCG’s business context
Provide guidance to the product teams on their GTM strategy
Drive the creation of marketing plans – tailored to various stages of the product life cycle, including launch and new market expansions
Support product team stakeholders with annual marketing review and refinement of strategy
Assist teams as they target multiple audiences – Partners who will sell the product, case teams who decide to leverage a case using the product, and clients who use the product

Marketing execution:
Develop an approach and guidelines/templates for key marketing tools such as product videos, product brochures, product microsites, proposal pitches, and virtual trainings
Work with the Global Marketing team to ensure that BCG branding guidelines are followed by all product marketing materials
Work with internal resources and with BCG-contracted creative design agencies on creating standard frameworks and supporting execution of creative assets (e.g., videos, print collateral, microsites, infographics)
Drive promotion of their products across multiple channels (meetings, events, booths, sites, and training)
Work across PAs and products to create marketing collateral for multiple channels such as (e.g., events, meetings, microsites)
Ensure continuity of messaging and presentation; contribute to standard slide decks on product marketing capabilities

Marketing measurement:
Create and share a framework through which teams can evaluate the effectiveness of their product marketing activities
Share best practices across products including specific slides or collateral examples

Supervisory role:
Oversee work of marketing team members ensuring high quality outputs are produced
Provide support to other marketing team members as needed, including training and people development

YOU’RE GOOD AT

Results-driven, operates well under pressure, and is fearless in setting and managing expectations
Strong communication and listening skills. You are clear, direct, and understand how to adapt communications both written and verbal depending on who your audience is; ability to communicate with senior marketing leaders, BCG Partners, and Solution Business Directors
Demonstrated strong organizational and teaming skills with the ability to work effectively in a global environment with people at all organizational levels
Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field. Master’s degree is a plus
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in marketing and communications, ideally in B2B technology space. Experience in consumer or retail industry is a plus
Proven history of developing and executing successful external marketing communications strategies. Able to transform creative ideas into impactful campaigns across multiple audiences and platforms
