Job Description

We are looking for a Key Account Representative to be located in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area and report to the Director, Retail.

Location: the role is remote -must reside in Miami or Fort Lauderdale area (Territory includes, but is not limited to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Los Olas, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cold Calling on High End Restaurants and Boutique Hotels
  • Execution and implementation of annual foodservice channel plans that are aligned with business and customer strategies, while achieving profitable sales objectives
  • Execute plans for assigned geography / account(s) that are aligned with BTB and Customer business objectives / strategies
  • Territory includes, but is not limited to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Los Olas, etc.
  • Develop business relationship with the owner/managerof restaurant/foodservice customer
  • Be a brand ambassador for BTB in the field, and at events.
  • Minimal travel
  • Willing to set up, participate, and manage local events (some weekend and evening work)
  • Responsible and accountable to achieve agreed upon KPI’s

Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

  • College Degree preferred
  • 2+ years in Restaurant Industry, CPG experience and/or Sales experience a plus
  • Consistently delivers on KPIs / Demonstrated success in previous roles
  • Understanding of the independent restaurant industry a must
  • Strong execution skills
  • Problem solver, self-starter and good communication skills
  • Spanish Speaking
