Senior Trade Marketing Manager

The Senior Trade Marketing Manager will be part of France Marketing/Trade Marketing team, reporting to a Group Marketing Manager. You will be responsible for the strategy and the execution of the trade marketing strategy for a Beauty Luxury Brand portfolio.

You will define and coordinate a winning 4Ps strategies and in-store action plans to deliver profitable growth on the brand portfolio for the local market. You will work in strong collaboration with local marketing and sales team and global trade marketing team to ensure perfect execution and winning plans in-store.

Key Responsibilities

Build and pilot annual sales plans

  • Build and align annual sales plans and in-store priorities to deliver targets based on a perfect understanding of the in-store dynamics (Shoppers) and customer’s key business drivers (KBDs) / smart P&L approach
  • Recommend and implement action plans to deliver our commitments
  • Build opportunities plans to drive incremental business
  • Pilot and optimize in-store budget respecting investments guidelines & ensuring effective and accurate budget management
  • Sales obj target deployment to commercial/ key account team & follow up via scorecards
  • Analyze promotion performance and build action plans if needed
  • Leverage key insight and past learnings on in-store fundamentals, promotions and SI/ SO strategies

Build and execute winning in-store plans

  • Define and execute 4Ps brand strategies: Assortment/ Pricing and promo strategy/ merchandising (Merchandising plans elaboration, as well as efficient assortment optimization) / promotions (Priorities and supports)
  • Define customer targets on initiatives and KCPs
  • Build differentiation launch plans and support plans based on in depth customer and retailers understanding
  • Track performance via scorecards on launches, trade slots and KCPs and monitor market trend
  • Lead & Coordinate Instore executions in collaboration with instore expert (work hand in hand with e-com manager on BIC e-com execution on brand portfolio)
  • Forecast and order Marketing Materials items and manage allocation/ execution per promotion/ customer
  • Manage incentive program

Engage, equip and energize

  • Support & equip Sales teams in achieving sales (sell-in & sell-out) objectives via creative selling tools conception, customized plans and concept sells…
  • Build & defend compelling retailers’ presentations
  • Day on the field and store checks to understand store dynamics
  • Multifunctional collaboration

Manage one Trade marketing in-store coordinator

  • Manage, coach, develop and assess performance
  • Can manage one intern in his/her daily missions:Recruitment, integration, continuous training of the intern

Skills / Qualifications & Experience

• 4/5-year Undergraduate Degree in Marketing or Related Field

• Between 2 and 4+ years of Operational Marketing/Trade Marketing and/or related experience

• Ideally a preliminary experience in the beauty sector (beauty passionate!)

• Brand management, out-of-the-box thinking, strategic planning

• Ownership, result & solution-oriented mindset, dynamism, leadership and strong interpersonal & collaborative skills

• Business-oriented, initiative-driven, positive mindset and client-focused approach

• Fluent English for business purposes
