What You’ll Do


BCG seeks to further build our expert team in Digital Marketing & Sales, to support our clients’ demand for this critical topic. We are currently looking for deep topic experts who will continue to leverage, expand, and train others and will bring experience and passion in:
• Digital marketing and personalization
• E-Commerce
• B2B marketing and sales


To thrive and succeed in BCG, you effectively collaborate and build trusting working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels of seniority. You establish rapport with clients by understanding their businesses, relating to their experiences, and empathizing with their challenges. You find it natural to play a leading role in the growth of the Marketing, Sales & Pricing domain, and to build awareness of our expertise and capabilities externally by participating in industry forums and other thought leadership activities.


The Expert Consulting Track (ECT) is vital to BCG’s ability to successfully meet our clients’ demand for deep expertise and sophisticated technical capabilities. Experts deliver next-level impact for BCG’s most complex and pioneering client challenges; and their work is critical to our delivery model. Working alongside our traditional and specialty consultants to bring the ‘best of BCG’ to our clients, Experts come from diverse backgrounds, with expertise often gained outside of BCG in industry, academia, or specialized consulting.

As a new Expert you will:
• Work closely with and bring your deep expertise to BCG and client leaders
• Support or lead case teams who need an Expert
• Drive constructive dialogues with client leaders on how to capitalize
• Engage with vendors to assess the costs, value and fit for the client’s requirements

What You’ll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

We are looking for experienced talent across the career ladder from Consultant to Associate Director. Common Expert qualifications typically include:
• Clear domain expertise in one or more of the areas listed below – from either academic or industrial background

• Experience with management consulting and advisory is a clear advantage; alternatively ideal candidates will have experience from commercial and external facing roles in industry

• Strong passion for and consistent track record in driving impact in high-performance organizations.

• Capacity to explore other fields beyond core expertise with a willingness to learn/adapt to BCG environment.

Digital Marketing & Personalization
Expertise in the areas of web analytics, user tracking tools (excl. SIO) and Google Analytics; Marketing Technologies (on-prem solutions, cloud-based solutions, CDP, marketing automation platforms, DAM, enterprise data and analytics platforms); Advertising Technologies (DSPs, analytics and measurement); and execution across all interaction channels and media (owned channels – e.g. email, contact center, branch/store, mobile, web – digital media channels – e.g. FB, Google, display, video, search -) are essential.

Deep experience in enterprise-level eCommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce, SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce, Shopify or the like, with experience optimizing existing eCommerce performance, including driving additional traffic to the website, whether directly owned or in coordination with marketing, optimizing on-site metrics (especially conversion rate, AOV), proven track record of improvements.

B2B Marketing & Sales
Relevant work experience in the B2B marketing & sales space and a track record of significant IP development. Exposure to tactics that are common in B2B marketing (lead generation, demand generation, CRM, web analytics, landing page design, SEO). Exposure to relevant technology platforms in the B2B marketing space (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, Adobe, Demand base, and ABM solutions). Analysis and interpretation of data through a business and economic lens.

Moderate travel is anticipated and will vary based on specific project locations/needs.
