Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly capable, self-directed Partner Marketing Manager, to help drive customer adoption of the AWS Cloud through our advertising and marketing technology partner community. If you have a passion for the cloud, love helping partners reach their full potential, and are an expert in designing and implementing joint marketing plans with partners in the industry – then we’re looking for you.

In the Sr. Partner Marketing Manager role, you will develop a deep understanding of the AWS partner ecosystem for advertising and marketing technology – defining and executing a global partner marketing plan focused across industry solution areas such as customer data platforms, data collaboration and identity, advertising intelligence, advertising platforms, and customer experience. You will build and deliver solution-oriented partner marketing messaging, thought leadership content, awareness activities, digital campaigns, demand generation programs, and events that enable advertising and marketing technology partners to acquire new customers, retain and grow existing customers, and deliver revenue growth of AWS services. You will monitor, manage, and support utilization of marketing development funds (MDF) and develop metrics to link ROI to spend activity. You will act as the primary marketing contact for technology partners worldwide and will collaborate with consulting partners where they can advance your initiatives.

This role requires strong collaboration and relationship-building skills as you will be required to partner with extended industry marketing teams, global and regional partner marketing teams, and the partner sales organization to execute partner marketing programs globally. You will be the voice of these partners’ marketing needs to internal stakeholders and will share best practices across regions. In addition, you will manage outside vendors to execute programs and achieve goals.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, incredibly fast-growing business. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the marketing technology and/or advertising technology industry, as well as experience developing thought leadership and executing marketing activities together with partners. Demonstrated data-driven marketing experience and ability to effectively communicate with some of the most agile technology companies in the industry, including both technical and non-technical audiences, are critical. You should be detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. A solid understanding of cloud architecture and the cloud landscape are critical to this role.
