TikTok is seeking a Vertical Strategist, focusing on the Personal & Home Care category within the CPG Vertical. The ideal candidate is creative, analytical and curious but is first and foremost a visionary strategist with seasoned experience working with Personal & Home Care brands. They are a gifted storyteller, with the ability to translate insights into clear positioning & marketing outputs that are ownable to TikTok. They have an appetite for learning and are comfortable working outside their primary skill set and comfort zone. This team educates and inspires Personal & Home Care brands about the opportunity for them on TikTok, so the best candidates will be passionate about developing strategic points of view, narratives, and product playbooks that get marketers to lean in and succeed on the platform.

What you’ll do:
– Build vertical narratives and B2B marketing outputs that speak to the challenges and needs of clients and agencies, assets should have a TikTok vibe, enable strategic sales conversations and inspire action
– Define strategic points of view and translate them into effective, breakthrough narratives (Presentations, one sheets, research based collateral) for Personal & Home Care
– Partner with other Regional Personal & Home Care Vertical strategists to share and reapply work
– Partner with a cross functional team to create internal and/or external facing marketing materials such as presentations, sizzles/videos, one sheets and research-based collateral
– Multi-task across simultaneous projects and deadlines, collaborating with appropriate team members
– Guide the socialization of Personal & Home Care vertical intelligence in support of a insights-first sales marketing approach
– Lead the B2B Marketing Pipeline of research and marketing needs for Beauty
– Partner with Insights, Creative Lab, Creator Solutions, Industry Sales Solutions, and Client Solutions to source top trends and insights that bolster TikTok’s positioning for Personal & Home Care
– Create a strategic rationale for the annual pipeline of marketing releases for NA Personal & Home Care
– Be a strategic partner to NA Personal & Home Care Sales Leadership
– Prioritize needs and gain cross-functional alignment for Personal & Home Care marketing deliverables within internal stakeholders
– Be the internal voice of socializing relevant TikTok brand marketing releases and continue to socialize Personal & Home Care Vertical strategy marketing releases

Qualifications

Who Are You?
– Passionate and driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit. Resourceful, innovative, forward-thinking, and collaborative.
– An expert on all things Personal & Home Care
– 6+ years experience in a strategy role at a beauty brand/company or on a Personal & Home Care account within a top-tier brand / media agency
– Experience working with and/or pitching to major Personal & Home Care advertisers, with an understanding of this industry’s digital advertising and social media platforms and best practices
– Strong grasp on Personal & Home Care’s role and effect on NA culture and creators with a keen understanding of what is relevant and an eye for upcoming trends
– A strong understanding of omni-channel marketing needs in regards to Personal & Home Care
– A Gifted Story-teller
– Ability to tell compelling stories with your strategic thinking, and proof that you’ve done so successfully
– Comfortable concepting, developing, and delivering innovative marketing presentations
– Expertise navigating research, with an ability to translate insights into clear positioning and narratives that are ownable to TikTok
– A Builder
– Resourceful and proactive, with a pro-active entrepreneurial approach and a strong business acumen
– Comfortable in a start-up environment where you are required to dig in, work through problems, and navigate within whitespace – daily
– A drive to constantly be learning new things
