We are hiring an experienced product marketing manager who dares to challenge the status quo, invent and simplify, and think big!

At Amazon we continually look for opportunities to invent on behalf of our customers, helping them to
find and discover virtually anything they want to buy online. To this end, we are building a range of products that help advertisers of all sizes connect with customers from discovery to purchase and enhance the customer experience with Amazon. We launched our first advertising program in 2006, and since then have built a global portfolio of advertising solutions on Amazon owned sites, mobile web and
apps, Fire tablet and TV, out of home, and on thousands of external publishers on desktop and mobile
through programmatic advertising.

In 2021, as a directive from global leadership, we are building a team in Asia to drive the awareness, activation, and continued success of
Asia-based sellers advertising in marketplaces worldwide (North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific) via
marketing channels, seller education, and product marketing.

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive awareness and adoption of Amazon’s Display and managed-service advertising products. In this role, you have a critical role to play in the short and long term success of our portfolio of multi-channel ad products (Display, OTT, Twitch). This role is both creative and analytical
you will be responsible for identifying areas of growth opportunities based on data/VoC, creating marketing programs and initiatives based on insights, and driving the implementation to ensure advertiser success while measuring the results.

You can expect to work closely with the marketing, education, and product teams on advertiser communication plans and product needs. This is a critical role and your efforts will drive advertiser base increase, business growth and product improvements.

Key job responsibilities
• Drive product awareness and consideration for Asia-based advertisers in global marketplaces

• Perform segmented advertiser opportunity analysis and make insight-based recommendations

• Set up overall business goals for managed ad products. Define and Review goals and targets with global and Asia stakeholder teams

• Command a deep understanding of Amazon ad product features/usage and customer needs

• Create and launch marketing programs and assets (in partnership with Marketing teams) to drive product adoption

• Build strong relationships with senior leaders on internal stakeholder teams including Marketing, Education, Ad Sales, Consumer Partners, and Product

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual planning cycles in partnership with Finance and the rest of the organization

• Create effective mechanisms to track key inputs to the business and report closely on their progress

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of work experience. Ideally in product marketing, program management, consulting, strategy, in advertising or ecommerce

• A builder/architect mindset who adopts a structured thinking approach and build things that last

• Relentless drive for inventing and simplifying things, from the customer’s perspective

• Passion for customer feedback and experience, familiar with metrics and quantitative analysis, ability to turn analysis into insights, ideas, and action

• Excellent executive-level written and oral communications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast paced workplace and deal with ongoing change and ambiguity

• MBA or equivalent preferred

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects

• Ambitious self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done

• Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities

• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization
