Job summary
Demand for software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications is accelerating and software builders are looking at SaaS as a primary business model to reach customers and scale their growth. The AWS SaaS Factory Program provides AWS Partners and customers with business and technical guidance to drive a transformation to SaaS. The AWS SaaS Factory Program has helped hundreds of AWS Partners and customers build SaaS business on AWS. We are looking to hire an experienced marketing candidate to drive awareness and campaigns globally for the AWS SaaS Factory Program. The focus will be engaging as many SaaS builders as possible with effective scale initiatives, ready-to-use tools, programs, and learning and development material that help them build, migrate, or optimize their SaaS product on AWS. You will have a background in defining strategies, building and executing GTM plans and campaigns, driving programs at scale, evaluating efficacy of scale initiatives, and must be able to work cross-functionally with a team of Solutions Architects (SAs), SaaS Business leads, and Program Managers globally.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail oriented and have excellent problem solving abilities. They will have demonstrated ability to think strategically and a deep marketing skill-set. They will have familiarity with tools including SalesForce and Marketo. They will have superb communication and program management skills, and communicate progress and results both written and verbally in a clear and easy-to-understand way.

Key job responsibilities
Marketing and promotion of the AWS SaaS Factory program globally to drive awareness and visibility among AWS Partners, customers, and key industry presences.
Management of global campaigns including e-mail and social to engage key audiences in building SaaS on AWS.
Own event strategy; develop event marketing plans that achieve marketing team and shared goals.
Manage end-to-end planning and execution of SaaS Factory events, including strategic planning, event marketing, budget, logistics and communications.
Work with stakeholders across the organization including product and field marketing, business development to define and execute effective and timely initiatives to scale the reach of program resources.
Own key public facing assets of the AWS SaaS Factory, including the SaaS on AWS public webpage.
Design, implement, and report on metrics to measure impact and effectiveness of scale initiatives.
Prepare and lead business reviews with the senior management team regarding progress and challenges to establishing and executing programs.

The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $151,200 – 204,600 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* 5+ years of relevant work experience in managing multiple high-impact projects/programs at a global technology company.
Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at executive level.
Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and AWS.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience in product, content, or growth marketing.
Experience at a SaaS-focused organization.
Experience in high frequency communications with senior leadership.
Detail orientation and experience balancing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
