Our Enterprise Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop solutions that build businesses and brands. The Industry Strategist- Dining/QSR will have deep knowledge of online media combined with excellent communication and analytical skills. You use your influence and relationship-building skills to shape how new and existing businesses grow. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of key clients and understand how TikTok can grow their business.
What you’ll do:
-Work with customers in various ways to ensure the product is providing maximum business value and continued consumption.
-Create the POV and value proposition for the industry, in partnership with the marketing team, to be utilized by the sales teams to inform client strategy and pitch to new client ventures.
-Set the industry benchmarks and KPIs that all TikTok brands should aspire to as a gold standard.
-Keep the TikTok enterprise sales team, marketing, and product teams up to date on the latest trends in the industry to inspire new ways of driving consumption for clients.
-Be a creative voice to inspire our clients.
-Bring a consultative approach that will align around a Customer First methodology.
-Consult with Product to help shape product development in support of client needs.
-Identify winning strategies and scale the insights throughout the Dining/QSR vertical.
-Develop and implement best practices for client interaction.
-Partner with marketing to inform narratives and sales materials as well as client engagement strategies.
-Partner with marketing to scale vertical intelligence across the sales team.
What You Need to Succeed:
-10+ years of experience in the Dining/QSR vertical.
-Outstanding executive presence and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to engage C-level executives.
-Storyteller with experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities to clients.
-Experience building relationships with top marketing decision-makers at brands and agencies.
-Previous experience in vertical at a brand or agency.
-Background brings credibility to TikTok.
-Previous experience in digital advertising.
-Must be able to foster executive relationships with genuine interest in customers’ success.
-Knowledge of agency ecosystem, digital and traditional.
-Must be comfortable with extensive travel across the country.
-Demonstrated experience using advertising data to craft media strategy.
-Growth mindset, eager to learn, with ego in check.
