We are looking for a customer-obsessed Sr. Product Marketing Manager to support our growing US business. This PMM will own and drive adoption of the Smart Reorders feature within Smart Home. This individual will support a diverse range of go-to-market and marketing initiatives as we drive feature adoption and product expansion. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role in which the candidate will define the strategy behind how we communicate and interact with customers.

The successful candidate will have detailed eye for data to develop, launch, test, and report on awareness, education, and conversion-oriented programs touching all areas of the business. The candidate will possess excellent analytical abilities, and have the ability to work with technology, product development and business teams. The ability to manage multiple milestones and shifting requirements in a fluid, fast-moving environmentwhile keeping senior stakeholders updated on your progressis critical to success in this position.

Key job responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, build, and execute owned & operated channel growth plans, including creative development, targeting segmentation, and campaign performance analysis
  • Deeply understand and articulate the target customer; obsessively understand customer journey, trends, and opportunities
  • Understand key traffic drivers (Alexa, onsite, email, social, etc.) and how to measure, track, and optimize them to accomplish business goals, document the results, and share best practices across the team
  • Partner with stakeholders within and outside the team to drive critical strategic projects
  • Understand how to get the most out of the tools you use to do your job and challenge the existing tool set, successfully working with technical teams to propose and evaluate enhancements that improve efficiency and functionality

About the team
The team’s vision is focused on making customers’ lives simpler by making shopping more convenient and even disappear. Our mission is to make Alexa work for customers behind the scenes as part of the ambient smart home experience. Our product delights customers by utilizing Alexa to remind them when they’re low on everyday consumables such as laundry detergent, batteries, printer ink, and much, much more! Alexa will even place an automatic smart reorder from Amazon if the customer chooses.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or the equivalent
  • Experience developing and analyzing experiments and growth campaigns to determine if they are meeting business objectives.
  • Experience developing multi-channel marketing strategies and tactics including email, push, onsite, and social.
  • Strong problem solving, creative, and quantitative reasoning skills
  • Experience with customer segmentation and targeting.
  • Experience interpreting data, dashboards and making business recommendations.
  • Proficiency with SQL and ability to pull and analyze data.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience in dashboarding tools such as Tableau
  • Experience in consumer analytics tools
  • Experience with AWS data warehouse and reporting technologies like Redshift, Athena, S3, etc
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex and highly visible projects
  • Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
  • Ability to conceptualize, scope, and execute projects to strict deadlines
  • Proven ability to move fast in an ambiguous environment without close supervision
