Our team is focused on building a personalized, curated, and seamless music experience. We want to help our customers discover up-and-coming artists, while also having access to their favorite established musicians. We build systems that are distributed on a large scale that can support Amazon’s global platform, and customer base.

Amazon Music offerings are available in multiple countries, and our applications support our mission of delivering music to customers in a way that enhances their day-to-day lives. We can be found on platforms such as the Amazon Echo, Kindle Fire, iOS, and Android as well as on a mixture of home and auto streaming platforms. We develop software in Java, C++, Objective-C, HTML5/JavaScript, Python, and various AWS technologies.

Given the strategic nature of the business, we are seeking a talented leader to serve as the Sr Marketing Manager for our growing team in Mumbai, India. This person will be responsible for achieving our growth goals by developing, coordinating, and executing a business strategy for driving awareness, adoption and consumer acquisition. This person will create analysis that will help to reveal how our customers both interact with the digital audio services and listen to music in general, which will inform the prioritization and roadmaps of the merchandising, product development, programming, marketing, vendor management, and content acquisition teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
  • 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience managing teams
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal with stakeholders

10+ years’ experience in online or consumer marketing, site merchandising, brand management or other relevant fields.
Bachelor’s degree

People management experience
Strong analytical skills with willingness to dive deep and interpret complex data

Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others internally and externally
Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution

Excellent project management skills, including work prioritization, planning, and delegation
Exhibits excellent judgment and relentlessly high standards
Track record of performance excellence; exceeding targets and building effective teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA or related Masters is a plus
Experience creating innovative marketing programs, ideally both online and offline
