Product Marketing Manager, Ads Privacy & Regulations

Meta seeks a leader who is passionate about helping to ensure Facebook remains a safe and trusted environment for people and businesses. This person will join the Ads Responsibility and Privacy team, and will be responsible for understanding upcoming trends around data privacy regulations, assessing implications for product teams and advertisers, and creating product development and go-to-market strategies that support both people and business needs. This individual will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Research, Design, Communications, Policy and Privacy teams in their day-to-day work. The successful candidate will have good judgment, technical acuity, accountability and follow-through. They must thrive as a product marketing leader within cross-functional teams, exhibiting excellent analytical and communication skills. This person should have a track record of influencing product strategy and managing highly complex, fast-paced, often ambiguous projects.

Product Marketing Manager, Ads Privacy & Regulations Responsibilities:

  • Monitor upcoming privacy regulations and support ads product teams in developing a response
  • Identify long-term product opportunities around privacy and data use based on regional understanding, analysis, and a strategic view of the direction of the market both for businesses and consumers
  • Lead comprehensive go-to-market strategy including sales and partner materials
  • Manage high-priority, fast moving decisions and communications regarding product & policy changes
  • Market assessment and requirements including impact analysis and competitive benchmarking
  • Represent internal and external stakeholders using qualitative and quantitative feedback

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of work experience, including 4+ years experience in marketing, consulting, communications, or internet technology, and experience contributing at both strategic and operational levels
  • Analytical, data-driven decision-maker
  • Communicator with experience simplifying complex concepts
  • Experience setting priorities, problem solving, multi-tasking, and working independently
  • Track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Product Marketing experience
  • Policy or regulatory experience
  • Experience in the advertising or communications sector
  • Masters degree
