The individual selected for this position will support the development of an audience-based omnichannel marketing campaign utilized by GCA.

Key job responsibilities
GCA’s Audience Manager will be responsible for translating all of GCA’s audience data into actionable paid, owned, and earned media strategies. Instead of planning and executing media against traditional direct-response conversion metrics like sales, clicks, or signups – GCA success is driven by offline outcomes that are far more difficult to capture and measure. Though randomized-controlled trials that rely on surveys, our team measures when our work is successful through attitudinal change measurement. We’re looking for an Audience Manager who can help direct multiple streams of communication onto a specific audience that can then be measured and attributed.
Your focus will be on mining and developing new and existing streams of data about the habits, preferences and patterns of our target audiences. Using that information, you’ll work with other communication teams within Amazon to create tailored targeting strategies to reach those individuals and improve brand sentiments. You will bring a data-driven mindset to help determine the optimal channel mix for reach our specific audience and move the needle. You will also work with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver measurable insights that demonstrate the success of your approach.
A day in the life
As the Audience Manager, you’ll optimize omnichannel marketing campaigns by:
• Acting as the primary source of media + channel insights about target audiences for paid, owned, and earned reputational marketing teams
• Developing a technology infrastructure that aggregates information from 1st-party and open-source data streams
• Building materials that communicates that information to internal and external stakeholders of varying technological and marketing backgrounds

o 5+ years relevant professional experience in communications/media
o Strong familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research techniques
o Experience developing data-driven earned and owned communication strategies
o Familiarity with media and social monitoring tools and techniques
o Exceptional communication, decision-making and time-management skills
o Excels in fast-paced work environments and juggling multiple projects with tight deadlines
o Outstanding collaboration skills to stakeholders of diverse and varying technical backgrounds
o An ability to move fast, adapt to change, and build programs and systems from the ground-up
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate plans to audiences that do not have a technical data background
