The Marketplace or “Sell on Amazon” business contributes to a significant portion of the total Amazon sales and is fast growing. Sellers are our customers and we help them sell their products to hundreds of millions of customers world-wide.

We are looking for a talented Program manager with marketing experience to help scale international selling for Sellers and Small to Medium businesses. The role is part of our diverse EU Selling Partner Marketing team in Europe and will work closely with the Amazon Global Selling Team.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop marketing strategies and drive adoption of EU to International global selling program. You will grow traffic across free and paid channels, optimize existing campaigns/websites to drive quality conversions and improve Seller journey. You will work with funnel teams to identify opportunities to remove barriers for our Sellers to sell in other regions, simplify processes and automate in order to scale this option to thousands of businesses. You will work with multiple stakeholders to invent, test and roll-out improvements to the Seller experience on internal and external platforms. You will have strong communication skills to lead executive interactions and to influence a broad set of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with rolling up the sleeves to deal with ambiguity, show strong attention to detail, display high-calibre analytical ability and will be at ease working in a fast-paced environment. You must also enjoy being a creative contributor and thrive working in a start-up like environment.

The position is based in London, working closely with teams in UK and Luxembourg and covering the whole Europe region.

About the team
The EU Selling Partner Marketing team drives new to Amazon Seller acquisition and life-cycle communication at scale. We generate demand at very top of the funnel and directly engage with new and existing Sellers as they sign-up, setup their accounts, list their products and start selling (see sell.amazon.co.uk). The Amazon Global Selling team in EU works to enable Sellers and SMEs to leverage Amazon scale and infrastructure to start selling internationally (eg: EU to US).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

University degree in business, marketing or similar related field.

  • 7+ years of digital marketing or program management experience, strong intuition for good customer experience and messaging.
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrated ability to leverage complex data, including customer research and customer feedback, to develop marketing and conversion strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with internal teams, multiple stakeholders and deliver results.
  • Process-oriented mindset with experience working with and managing external agencies/resources.
  • Comfortable with ‘hands-on’ management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, contending priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with Free Search optimizations, AdWords (paid search), Social and Digital Advertising.
  • Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics etc.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) & CRM systems (eg: email marketing).
  • Strong communication skills and high standard of verbal and written proficiency (English).
  • MS Office: Word & Excel proficiency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Further Qualifications would be a plus…

  • Experience with E-Commerce
  • MBA from a top tier school
  • Fluency in additional languages such as: German, French, Italian or Spanish.
