Job summary
Do you want to empower third-party sellers and small-to-large businesses to succeed on Amazon? Strategic Account Services (SAS) provides a suite of services designed to help any seller, at any point in their selling journey, accelerate growth in the Amazon store. SAS empowers sellers to grow through our tools, models, and insights delivered by account managers (AMs).
SAS Marketing and Communications (SAS Marcomm) are looking for a senior product marketing manager who will take ownership of one or more of our existing SAS products, which range from introductory self-serve products (focused on introducing managed SAS sellers to the benefits of selling through Amazon), to high-touch, concierge products focused on amplifying seller growth.

Key job responsibilities
You will own the launch of new/existing SAS products and pilots designed to meet sellers’ needs and support their growth on the Amazon store.
You will bring your experience in leadership and people management to lead a team of product marketing managers dedicated to one or more of the SAS products.
Working inside the SAS ecosystem, you will own marketing for one or more SAS products (paid and/or non-paid) including acquisition, engagement, retention, along with development of marketing assets for the product pilot and launch.
You will use data to develop and implement marketing campaigns to drive seller growth. You’ll have proven experience in B2B marketing, marketing content creation, modeling and testing. You’ll be comfortable working with complex challenges, appreciate white space and autonomy, and understand the value of a rapid test-and-learn approach.
You will always champion the seller experience, and will constantly look for ways to improve their experience and help grow their business

A day in the life
• Lead team of 3-5 product marketing managers, with responsibility for talent leadership, hiring, promotions, and talent review
• Work in partnership with key stakeholders to create effective product marketing strategies, execution, and test plans.
• Work in partnership with sales and sales acquisition leads to develop and deliver compelling and effective marketing strategies including acquisition, engagement and retention throughout the seller lifecycle
• Partner with key stakeholders to support the growth of new SAS product features and deliver campaigns that inform selling partners of new product developments and feature updates

About the team
SAS Marketing and Communications, Change management and Learning & Development (SAS Marcomm) provides marketing strategies and compelling content for sellers at all stages in their SAS journey, across the suite of SAS products. We drive human-centered change management, improving the experience SAS stakeholders have with business changes to move them to long-term adoption and ownership. We create and deliver innovative professional training solutions with long-lasting, measurable results, using a Continuous Learning Model (CLM). Our mental model is that when sellers are informed and inspired, they’re more likely to engage effectively with our products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of progressive responsibility in product marketing for an enterprise organization
• 3+ years in people management
• Proven track record in B2B marketing
• Ability to partner cross-functionally and work with a wide range of stakeholders
• Proven track of record of managing and optimizing marketing campaigns
• Deep analytical abilities, specifically with respect to campaign performance and experiment design and analysis
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others
• Proven track record of successful online marketing experiments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent discipline
• Experience working with or supporting international marketplaces
• Deep analytical abilities, especially with respect to experimental design and analysis.

This role can be based in any one of the SAS hubs (Seattle, NYC, Chicago, Austin, San Diego, Los Angeles, Tempe AZ, San Diego, Costa Rica)
