Overview
As part of the Customer & Market Insights team at Chick-fil-A, it is our role to capitalize the Customer and provide meaningful insights that fuel innovation around service, product development, messaging and experience. The role of Lead Insights Analyst, Market Analyst, will assist stakeholder groups in defining measurement and reporting needs so we can better assess our business performance as a marketing organization and expand our current Marketing Effectiveness capabilities. Specific responsibilities will include connected media and measurement insights for and of our geographic markets regarding media investment, Chick-fil-A One adoption, Market trends and segmentations, and application of people movement data in marketing analyses.
Responsibilities
- Serve as analytic liaison between Customer & Market Insights and internal market consultant stakeholders to deliver key insights and trends around pertinent KPIs regarding business health, maturity, and digital adoption at a market or service area level
- Build and maintain a variety of dashboards to help visualize and synthesize key metrics across markets and service area teams
- Innovate in ways to apply people movement data to current analysis
- Work with cross-functional teams, multiple vendors, and data sources to drive holistic insights
- Contribute to our Marketing Mix Modeling program as the SME for market-level media
Refresh and build market-based analytics such as market segmentation to enhance our strategic view of our markets and market-level media plans
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a field such as Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Marketing, Economics or other similar fields
- 3-5 Years
- Familiarity with financial and marketing principles and data sets, marketing channels, agency partnerships
- Experience translating and simplifying complex data into well-crafted stories and actionable recommendations
- Proven ability to process data from multiple sources to provide clarity to cross-functional stakeholders
- Direct experience with syndicated data providers like Numerator, NPD, Nielsen, or IRI
- Experience partnering well with cross-functional teams, being highly collaborative with the ability to build strong relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Quick and versatile learner
- Strong analytical skills in hypothesis generation and data identification
- Ability to maintain focus on the business context and the key decisions to be made
- Ability to convey insights in a way that is clear and compelling
- Tableau, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, PowerBI
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Masters’ degree in a field like, like Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing Research, Economics or other similar fields
- 5-8 years experience in advanced analytics areas such as MMM, Price and Promotion, product Assortment, in-market testing, and digital measurement
- Experience in geolocation data and/or geospatial data processing
