An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Kleenex® brand team as Brand Manager.

We are looking for a driven candidate for this key role to deliver shopper-focused programs with excellence, leading to outstanding brand and commercial results.

What are we looking for? Brand Manager – Activation

The role will be part of the overall Brand Activation team for Kleenex. The Brand Manager will be driving brand equity and growth among consumers across paid, earned, owned and shopper channels. The role will be leading all Kleenex UK & Ireland shopper activation instore and online across our retail partners. There is a specific focus for the role to drive Kleenex eCommerce in retailers and in Digital channels.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Kleenex Brand Team, which acts as a lead market for the whole EMEA and Globally. The role holder will have the opportunity to set the standard in shopper and performance marketing. We are looking for a driven candidate for this high-profile role to shape the Brand Strategy, focusing on Shopper Activation & Brand Performance, and lead Brand Activation Programs from brief to execution.

  • Shared accountability for meeting Kleenex Objectives net sales, gross profit, brand share, and brand equity objectives
  • Working in partnership with the Content & Media Manager to deliver integrated brand experiences, with the right shopper touch points in place in store and online, across key retailers
  • Manage a substantial Shopper Marketing budget, and deliver high ROI outcomes that maximize growth
  • Contribute to the development of 3-year Strategic Business Plans and Annual Brand Plans
  • Set, monitor and report KPIs on assigned programs across all media channels, and earned/ owned specific KPIs
  • Leading brand activation projects from briefing to execution and evaluation, focused on customer and shopper activation, in line with annual brand plans
  • Leading the development and application of the Kleenex shopper strategy, resulting in shopper-led brand activation programs that unlock incremental feature and growth
  • Partnering with several agencies, including POS, field marketing and shopper agencies, tapping into a talented and passionate team to deliver the activation programs
  • Build strong relationships externally with customer counterparts and internally with customer teams (sales teams).
  • Be the shopper voice and champion internally and externally, working with Market Research and Category Development teams.


  • An exceptional performer, with 5 or more years’ experience in marketing or marketing agency, preferably with experience in customer or client facing roles
  • Digital, eCommerce or Performance Marketing experience desirable
  • Ideally a degree in business or marketing-related subjects
  • A strong desire to be accountable and to exceed expectations
  • Ability to build trust amongst numerous stakeholders
  • Personal growth and learning mindset


  • Strong presentation and influencing skills and ability to communicate clearly in English
  • A track record of making things happen and delivering business results in current / previous roles
  • Strong consumer understanding, ideally in FMCG, and an understanding and passion for brands
  • Strong analytical thinking and able to use data to make recommendations to optimise performance
  • Resilient and able to work under pressure with competing priorities and under tight deadlines
  • Ability to influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
