    Position Overview

    The Marketing Manager will develop and execute marketing plans and programs designed to drive product launches, campaigns, and support in UL fire safety markets globally. The role will own the marketing for select elements of the portfolio, programs to engage key influencers with thought leadership, and engage with Siemens teams and partners throughout the Americas, Middle East and Asia (UL fire safety markets worldwide). This role offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with marketing teams, product managers, sales teams and customers globally to drive growth for Siemens innovations in fire safety. The ideal candidate will successfully synthesize market intelligence, digital inputs, and direct customer feedback to recommend shifts in the market approach and serve as a channel expert to drive go-to-market campaigns. A successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with identifying and developing impactful relationships and navigating cross- functional dependencies to deliver tangible marketing support materials, programs and initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with Go To Market Director, Director of Product Management, Global Sales Director, and Global Segment Head lead to create high impact portfolio, international and influencer programs, campaigns and resources.
    • Develop and implement specific marketing plans consistent with the growth and profitability goals for product, systems, and software categories.
    • Coordinate with all functional marketing areas as well as internal & external agencies.
    • Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing Communications to develop and digitalize sales tools and marketing assets to promote awareness and drive market share growth across all sales channels.
    • Build relationships and execute marketing plans with Region Leadership, Territory Managers, International Business Development Team, Country Specific Marketing & Communications Counterparts & Distributors for Fire Business.
    • Understand the needs of the market and conduct Market Research and/ or benchmarking
    • Strong marketing operations skills to individually complete core tasks such as localizing or translating marketing assets, presentation building and regional specific marketing.
    • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in regional and Building Products Americas team for the effective day-to-day management of campaign delivery.
    • Support Regional Sales Leaders with the right digital sales enablement tools and full marketing plan integration to execute sales and marketing campaigns to grow market share and achieve planned sales.

    Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience

    • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering.
    • 5+ years of experience in Commercial Product Marketing of industrial, engineered products is required. Business to business and channel partner marketing along with fire Safety market experience are a plus.
    • Experience organizing and leading webcasts and though leadership events
    • Strong integrated marketing and digital skills with experience managing impactful marketing programs and campaigns.
    • Detail-orientated, strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to synthesize raw data into actionable marketing strategies to stay ahead of the competition on key segment initiatives.
    • Exceptional cross-group collaboration, interpersonal, verbal and written communication and executive presentation skills.
    • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. Knows how to prioritize effectively to achieve the best outcome.
    • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office.
    • Possess a creative mindset to promote competitive differentiation – knows how to translate benefits and outcomes from product features and solutions.
    • Channel partner marketing experience a plus.
    • Strong team building skills to foster productive working relationships internally and externally.
    • Up to 20% travel domestic and international
