We are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys a challenge. You will be joining an established team that manages the firm’s information barriers and associated processes including the management of inside information, substantial shareholding disclosures and the provision of advisory and compliance oversight to Macquarie’s institutional Research division.
In this exciting role you will have frequent interaction with business stakeholders across the Macquarie Group on a regional and global level. You will also be working collaboratively with colleagues in Compliance and other risk functions. You will be involved in a range of tasks including, but not limited to, compliance monitoring, transaction management, managing information barriers, review and approval of institutional research, policy review, regulatory and legal change management as well as taking an active role in global control room projects and initiatives.
You will hold a degree and have an understanding of investment banking and global markets products. Prior Control Room experience is beneficial, but a relevant compliance or regulatory background, an interest in management of information and conflicts within an institutional banking environment will set you up for success in this role. Strong analytical capability, attention to detail, resilience and a “can do” attitude, especially under pressure, are also crucial skills for this role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong sense of teamwork, and the ability to multi-task, to gain exposure to a wide variety of compliance matters in a dynamic environment.
